Bedore i could anser my ear flicked from hearing claws on stone, i follow tge sound and strangely it was the way of the sent, my feat do into a run as i hopped rocks, soon i found a kit that was a about to fall , i quickly leaped up and before he could fall i grabbed his scruff and pulled him up, "hold on," i said as i jumped down, plaxeing him on a flat rock

Rockfoot sniffed the air again. "I really can't tell," she meowed. If it was, they would have to hurry. The volcano might erupt any second, and this poor cat would be stuck! Rockfoot turned and bounded off after Emberstar, seeing the young kit. "What's your name?" She asked with a sweet tone.

Flickerkit stumbled, and another cat, much bigger than him, picked him up and plopped him down, as a voice asked "What's your name?" Flickerkit mumbled his name, but no one could understand what he was saying. "Flickerkit," He mumbled slightly louder, swaying on his feet a little.

I looked at tge kit, then the ground started shakeing, "here it comes!", i said thinking, :'the ashes are dedly for a little kit. We had to get him to camp' i piked up the kit from the scruff tightly , "we need to get back to camp, " i said as a few large puffs of smoke ame out of the top, "now," i said in a order of leader, starting to run/leap cross bolders to get to camp, some ashes and wmbes trarted to follow the smoke

Rockfoot, slightly stunned, nodded. She helped Panthersong grab some of her kill, then raced ahead and knocked small bushes and rocks out of Emberstar's way as they sprinted for camp.

Flickerkit closed his eyes and fell asleep with the swaying of him being carried along. He heard the frantic other cats, and the shaking of the volcano, but he was exhausted.

Panthersong
I grabbed what prey rock foot hadn't carried and pushed through the trees and undergrowth back to camp. Once there, I started to yowl the alarm.
"A burst is coming! A burst is coming!" I yowled. "Queens, kits, and elders get to safety. Warriors, put up the barrier to block the ash! Get in the Warriors den!" I me we'd at the top of my lungs.

Rockfoot gently took Flickerkit, still sleeping, from Emberstar. "I'll watch over him," she said. "You need to attend to protecting the clan." Rockfoot dipped her head respectfully to Emberstar, then, with a flick of her tail, bounded to the nursery and gently laid Flickerkit down. She wanted to help with the barricade, but she felt she should watch over the sleeping kit. Finally, she decided to sit at the entrance to the nursery, where she could see the happenings yet still keep an eye on the kit.

I rushed around, helping wherever I could. I went to Emberstar. "Is there anything else you need done?" I asked with a respectful dip of my head.

Flickerkit

An orange she-cat approached Flickerkit in his dreams, gently nuzzling him. Two smaller kits, one black-and-orange, the other orange with black rings around her eyes and tails, rolled out from behind the she-cat, tussling with themselves. Flickerkit nuzzled himself back up to the shecat, and she curled protectively around him, the two other kits playfully tussling, running up and down their patient mother's back. "Mom?" Flickerkit asked, his voice barely above a whisper. The she-cat nodded. "I though you guys were--" Flickerkit sniffled. The orange she cat nodded solemnly. "We are gone, my sweet. From your world, at least. But we will always stay with you." The black-and-orange bopped Flickerkit's nose playfully, and the orange-and-black-ringed kit swiped at his ears. They wanted to play, but Flickerkit wanted to understand what their mother was saying. The she-cat spoke again. "You will have tough times ahead of you, but I need you to be strong." Flickerkit sniffled and bobbed his head again. His mother rose, and licked his head-fur caringly, then, she and her two other kits turned to walk away. "Wait!" Flickerkit wailed, dashing after them, pouncing on his brother's tail. But all that he caught was air. Flickerkit laid down and curled himself up, whimpering. Suddenly, the dark around him burst with fire. Burning...everywhere...

Rockfoot

Rockfoot turned from her watchful position at the mouth of the nursery, to the sounds of the whimpering kitten. She padded to Flickerkit and curled protectively around him. She had no idea what she was doing, but this kit looked scared. Watching the burst blockade wasn't as important as this little kit right now.

After the long time, I remembered I had some apprentices to be reasoned mentors, i jumped up to the ledge, at the side of the cave, " let all cats that can catch there oun pray Step under the highledge FOR a clan meeting!"
