Sable trudged onward, trying to ignore the constant complaints her pups shot at her. She lowered her head, shivering, and the she-pup fell back into step beside her. "Mama..." she whispered lightly. "It's so... cold... and I'm tired." Sable sighed, then turned to meet her eyes. "It's alright, just stay close to me... we're almost home. Just endure the cold a little bit longer."

Fraeca nodded. "Yeah... me too."
