Spikekit watched Fatalkit, then turned to Softgaze. " What happened to her?" He asked Softgaze.
" Why doesn't she want to play? "

"Wh-What makes you think there's anything wrong?" She mewed sobbing the words out
of her mouth.
"I guess I have to tell you now, don't I?" She mewed, very upset.

She frowned softly and looked at Spikekit,"Fatalkit is upset, thats why she doesn't want to play. Why don't we leave her and Lilyfoot to talk?"She suggests gently.

Fatalkit-

She wanted to walk away seeing that she was drawing attention but she didn't know
how to escape the situation so she just tried to hide her face in her fur.

Purring, the tom rested his chin on his paws, listening to the group of kits play. He was just about to close his eyes when a faint whimper/mewl caught his attention. Fatalkit? He glanced in the direction of the nursery to see Fatalkit and Lilyfoot, the poor kit in tears. Aww, the poor thing... I would go over and try to help, but I have a feeling that more cats would just make it worse. It looks like Lilyfoot has it under control anyhow.. The feeling tugging at his heart strings fading slightly, he closed his eyes ad slipped into a light slumber, happily soaking in the sun's strengthing rays.

[I love playing this character because he's usually so cold and sharp-tongued, but around kits he's as warm and playful as any cat. He's also very protective over them. ^-^]

Stormkit- Watching fatalkit run off , she felt confused at her denmate's outburst, glancing sideways at spikekit, stormkit turned to the others and gingerly nudged a green mossball. " Lets play?"

Lilyfoot

"Oh Parrotstar! Rosethorn said I am expecting kits! " She exclaimed, smiling warmly. She looked back at Fatalkit. " Fatalkit, I promise you can tell me. If you tell me you might feel better." She said softly and gently, and mewed, "Everything will be alright." She curled her tail around the small, crying kit, hoping she'd be better soon. "No one likes when kits cry." She whispered in the kits ear with a hint of emphasis on the words 'no one'.

Fatalkit-

"But nothing will bring them back-- I never got to see them, yet I miss them so much.
I didn't know them but I wish I did! It's all my fault! If I wasn't born they both
would probably be living-- it's all my fault! I wish they never
even met eachother! I wish I wasn't born!" She said bursting out even more tears and
assuming that Lilyfoot knew who "they" were.

She nudged Spikekit back towards the playing kits with a reassuring smile when they were out of the nursery,"Go play with the others, Lilyfoot will make sure that Fatalkit is alright."She mewed softly.

-Lionkit-

He smiled having been to busy talking with his sister to notice the commotion by the nursery."Ya, lets! Your it!"He added playfully before beginning to run away.His sisters following his lead by spreading out away from Stormkit so they could more easily avoid her moss balls.

"Fatalkit! Don't say that, they are now watching over you, protecting you in Starclan." She said sternly, but at the end her voice softened to a gentle tone. "I was a kittypet before I joined Rainclan. My lover back at the twoleg place has no idea where I went, and is probably worried sick. But what he doesn't know is I'm never coming back. I'm staying here. She looked at the she-cat, crying, shaking, sad, and overall, lost. "We'll help you through it Fatalkit. That's what we're here for." She said, motioning for Softgaze to put in a good word or two.
