I wonder about rarities. Cleopatra was handed out once to every person, and was considered valuable, and turned uncommon.

People got multiple doubles of the calf last year, and it turned rare. Shouldn't it be switched or something? I get hoards are possible, but unlikely of turning Cleocatra into uncommon.

Cleocatra was free. Everyone who was active and went to the page could get her. The calves on the other hand were token pets and were available for 8 of the brick tokens from the dig pile. Token pets are almost always uncommon or rare for summer events and free pets are usually uncommon and less.

There's a set amount of Cleos in existence, one for every person who adopted. Even if someone has 100 of her that just means they traded for 99 other people's Cleos. Regardless of their hoard those other 99 Cleos would've still existed.

Rarities don't work like that. It isn't how many of them are out there, it is about how scattered they are.

I'm not completely sure but I swear I read somewhere about them and how all the rarities work ...

I remember reading a long time ago that rarities work like, if there are for example 20 of one pet, and everyone has one, it'll be very common. And if one person has like 5 of them, and someone else has like 15 of them, it'll be rare.

Not the same numbers, obviously higher but etc.

No xD its about how many pets there are VS how many members there are.
Its kinda like this:
More then 1 copy of a pet per each user on cs means that the pet is omgsocommon,
1 copy of a pet per user means the pet is common
1 copy of the pet per every 3 users means the pet is uncommon
Etc.etc

It does not matter where the pets are, in trade groups, hoard groups or collection groups, as long as they got adopted out and are in the game (on adtive accounts) they count towards rarity values.

I highly doubt any pet will be rare this year, but if it happens it will not be one of the free adopt pets for sure xD i personally think the alliecorn and the lollipig will only be uncommon as they werent that hard to get, i had a harder time with the orangy pps kitten xD

Plenty of new food pets, so that was good. Not as many activities as in prior years but I do appreciate all the trouble to create the event. I think my favorites were the choctopus babies.

The one thing I had hoped for didn't show up though:
