We did have one at my school, but clubs aren't exactly a place to just 'chill'
The presidents had to give the Headmaster(aka principle) a list of stuff we did and need. Like it's not just watching anime, most of it was meetings and talking about ways to bring anime into school and I quit because I felt it was a waste of time

We had to talk to the principle to get a budget and stuff so we could buy animes, and we also did bake sales etc. but we never really discussed integrating anime into our school. The whole student body is pretty clear that we don't 'flaunt' (their words, not mine) our interests or 'force' (again, not my words) them into the school community.

There was an anime club at my school last year for about 4 months until summer started. When we came back in September it wasn't running anymore, so I assume the person who ran the club moved on/went to another school. Most of it was drawing and we actually had to draw, we couldn't just watch anime. I didn't go often, I think because I knew I could watch anime at home if I wanted, with no distractions and a better screen o: (the episodes were projected onto a whiteboard)
We could pick from a selection of anime that people brought in, and I remember watching spirited away and death note in the time that I went.

there are no clubs at my school. i think there are clubs in uni ?? but i've only heard of clubs once offline.
which is a shame, I'd totally be in that.
but anyone who watches anime *cough one piece and naruto cough* in my school is mostly the guys who play minecraft and make dank memes of their friends and tape them to the windows. public schools ftw. i love my school. i hope that was some interesting content to read.
they have so much variety I'd love to talk anime with them.

Tbh,i have no idea what clubs my school may/may not have.
B/cause I attend a school for Germans.

There was an anime club AND a separate manga club in my high school. I was briefly a member of both, although the manga club ended up being a lot of drawing manga as well. The heads of the club were students from Japan who would bring in authentic manga artist tools. But I am not very good at drawing, so I just dropped out and stuck to the anime club. Members would vote on anime to watch. It was mostly just a sit-there-and-do-nothing club. A lot of kids played Game Boy or DS.

However, at my university, the anime club is a lot better. I'm not a member, but my friend is. Last year my school paid for the whole club to go to Otakon. I was so jealous. T_T

My high school kind of sucks so there aren't any cool clubs. Just the basics like art club or newspaper club *sigh* I can't wait to go to college next year where they will actually have video game and anime clubs
