I see up ahead a dog in a yard. I recognize the dog. It was Dexter. I bark a few times and pull on the leash. My owner skips a few steps and walks up to the fence. "Hiya Doggie." She says. "HEY DEXTER!" I bark.

I walk down the alleyway and poke my head around the corner. I didn't see any catchers, so I walked out onto the sidewalk. I walked in the middle of the concrete.

I wake up from my name. I laid there on the ground looking around. I see a few people talk and that's about it. I see that some dogs are missing. The ones that are missing are the hunters, so they must be hunting. I quickly realize.

I look over and see Bellamy and Raven. I pad over to them. I lay down on my stomach and inch towards Bellamy. "Hiya Bellamy!" i say as I sniff him. I look up at Raven. "Hi."

I sniff around the field for any scent of prey. I can't seem to find a scent. I lift my head up to see if anyone else was on to something.

Storm padded around the city and the border of the forest. She was bored out of her mind. She pads into the forest. She scans the area with her sapphire blue eyes. She sees nothing. A low growl erupts from her throat. She hadn't found any food for ages and she wasn't going to go anywhere near them two legs. She sighed and padded further into the forest. The Black and Tan female lifted her nose up in the air. She'd caught the smell of a squirrel. She pads silently over towards it. She crouches and then pounces at it. She misses but takes chase. She swipes with her paw and takes out its back legs. She'd finally caught it. She kills it quickly. She eats it delicately before lying u dear a willow tree.

Dexter
"Hey Jake. Enjoying a walk I see." He commented. He gave a friendly bark to Jake's owner and put his front paws on the fence.

Bellamy
He rolled over onto his back and looked at Mimosa upside down. "Hey." He smiled and wagged his tail.

Raven
"Hello." He smiled at Mimosa as she came over.

The boxer edged away from the two.She didnt think it was a good idea to make the attack dog angry.

She rose to her full height,her eyes darkening,"You're right.They dont patrol it,thats why they got me,to patrol it for them." she said locking eyes with the border collie.

Fly met the doberman's gaze, and gave her best Border a Collie stare. "Oh, do they? If you call that patrolling, you've got another thing coming! We haven't even seen you before today, and this pack is generations old."

The boxer sidled up to Fly,"We got what we came for.Alpha will be worried if we take too long,lets just go back.Besides the leashed dog is no threat to us,she is just protecting her longpaw's fields." she said,not seeing why there was anything to fight about,they were after all just hunting and the longpaw didnt mind because they kept the rodents and other animals from eating his crops.

She glanced over at the boxer,"Thats because they just got me,to make sure you didnt try to steal any of their chickens." she said,her eyes locked on the border collie.

Fly rolled her eyes. "We don't steal chickens, never have. There's plenty of wild prey around here. Now how about you mind your business and we'll mind ours. Snip, let's go." She whirled around, and started back to camp.

She nodded,glancing back at the doberman as she picked up her rabbit.She followed the border collie through the cabbage and into the woods,sighing as her paws touched the pine covered ground.It feels good to be in the shade again. she thought,as they padded towards the camp.

"Keeping the farm safe is my business." she was about to say more when she happened to glance across the field and see her longpaw's black loudcage coming down the road.She quickly spun around and raced back to the farmhouse,if she was fast enough she might be able to make it there before he did.
