Their structure is similar to a bear or hyena, but no one really knows. They have horns on their muzzle, and they use them for showing off for future mates. Their horns may vary in length and shapes. Their diet consists of fruits, veggies, meats, and grains. But, it really depends on what the Tauras like.
Tarau are wonderful, and fun species, but will you win ones heart?

Name: Persimmon (Nicknamed Percy)
Short Personality: Gentle, soft-spoken, considerate, and warm. Percy is very observant about other's feelings and quick to lend a few consoling words if they're needed. He's very comfortable with himself, which makes it easier to be comfortable around everyone else. In a crowded room he's the calmest one, but that by no means makes him boring. He loves to laugh, almost as much as he loves to inspire it in others. He's usually armed with one or two fresh jokes- and he's careful to make sure that none of them are offensive.
Profession: He works at a toy store. What could be better than putting joyful smiles on children's faces?
Hobby: Origami. It relaxes him. He has dozens of them placed throughout his home, and even decorates his roof with them on long trails of string for special occasions.
Most Prized Possession: A hot stone. A gift from a very old friend whom he never speaks about. Every once in a while he'll take it out of his hope chest, run the warm rock over his paw pads and reminisce about the good old days.
His Greatest Act of Kindness & Charity:
Percy has done many good deeds throughout his lifetime, given toys to poor children, worked at soup kitchens, and donated to the less fortunate, but he believes his greatest act of kindness took place about a year ago; It began one day on his way to work, when Percy passed by the playground. Both were very close to each other, naturally. As he went by and saw the children playing and parents watching, he saw one boy sitting by himself, all alone. Not playing, not reading, just sitting there. Percy was somewhat concerned by this, though he did nothing of it that day, reasoning that perhaps he wanted to be alone or was on a time out, or something of the sort. But as the days went by Percy continued to see the little boy all by himself with nothing to do. Eventually Percy's goodhearted nature could stand to watch no more, and the next time he went to the playground, he brought a toy to give. When the boy received the object, a tiger figurine, he smiled politely and said his thanks. Percy left feeling much happier, hopeful that the child would be contented the next time he saw him. But, much to Percy's disappointment, the following day the boy was still sitting alone, looking none the more joyful, despite holding the figure that Percy had given him. So Percy went to him and asked if there was something wrong with the toy. He got a no in response. Was it broken? No. Did he not like the toy? Again a no. "So why aren't you playing?" Percy finally asked. The boy stated sadly: "I have no one to play with." Percy was confused. "Don't the other children play with you?" "No." The child said, looking at the others forlornly. "They think I'm too small and boring." Percy, deeply upset by this, thought long and hard about a solution. The next day he returned again, bringing an entire sack of toys with him. He laid them out the ground by the boy, setting them all in a row. "What are you doing?" the boy asked. "I still have no one to play with." "I'll play with you." Percy answered with a smile. "We don't need everyone else to have fun." The boy's eyes lit up. They dove into the pile of toys together, building castles and posing super hero's, setting train tracks and stacking stuffed animals. This went on for almost an hour, each having barrels of fun, until both noticed the group of children hovering nearby with interest. "What is it?" The boy asked the others as they watched. With a bit of hesitation a girl at the front of them asked: "That looks like fun.. Can we play with you?"
Ever since then all of the children have played together, none excluded from the rest, and all thanks to Percy's quick thinking. Even Percy himself learned a valuable lesson, that sometimes, the greatest gift anyone can receive is friendship.
