Fern stretched and got up, joining Tigerstar. She glanced at him as she sat down. His lovely features glowed in the morning sunlight. "I've always enjoyed the sunrise," she murmured, hoping to start a conversation.

➳ Silverdawn let out a soft laugh before nodding to his offer of the part of rabbit. "Thank you." She smiled taking a bite before being ready to respond to his question. "Its not a foster sort of thing. I adopted him, he's mine, and only mine. His mother was sent to be killed by the two legs, so I'm all he's got now." She said softly remembering the time when she went to try and find the mother to see the twolegs having her unconcious in the back of theyre car. She ignored the thoughts though and looked back to Oakfang. "It honestly isn't up to me whose kits I have. If a kit needs a mum I will be the first to jump out of the line. No one deserves to grow up without a family." She said taking a soft breath and turning back to Tumblekit. "Plus soon he's not going to need me, he's almost an apprentice, just a few more sunhighs." She said with a faint, but proud smile before catching Oakfang's eyes with her own green eyes watching carefully. "What about you?"

Tiger star

Tigerstar was startled by the shecat. "Well good morning." He mewed soflty looking into her green eyes. Had he fallin in love with this cat? He asked himself. He didn't know why and how but he loved this cat. Something about her was just...attractive.

Pinepaw

Pinepaw woke up as sunlight dotted the den. He let out a big yawn while shaking his fur loose of moss. He trotted his way out of camp and to the fresh kill pile. Already seeing some cats have woken up he glaced at the highledge and saw tigerstar talking to the strange cat he saw yesterday. He glanced back at the fresh pile pile picking up a chipmunk. It was small bu put if would fill him. He chose a nice spot in the sunlight to eat.

Dapppledpaw

Dappledpaw woke up from her nest. Seeing she was up before her mentor she dicided to start sorting the herbs again. Taking the old from the fresh and checking which ones to restore on.

"I would love to have kits," his ears twitched as he thought of his next words. "With a stunning she-cat who would do anything for any kit." Hints of a smile appeared onto Oakfang's features. He hoped his clue was big enough. Would she think that this act would be just one of his little flirts? Inwardly, the warrior sighed. He knew that he was to immature and couldn't start a family. Or could he? The tom looked to his paws before back at the warrior next to him. "I don't any cat would want me to be a father though." He paused and added angrily, "They think when I flirt it's just because I'm a young tom! They don't think that I could actually love anyone other than myself." Once realizing what he said, he turned to Silverdawn. "Sorry. I'm just not used to girls actually talking to me."

➳ Silverdawn laughed lightly. She assumed it was just another one of his flirts, just like he was doing on the new rouge female. "Well you have to get to know a female before starting to flirt with them. You have to know what they went through before, know how they got out." She mewed lightly sitting beside him. "Go on a walk with them, and talk about how they smell like fresh honeydew and flowers, and talk about how annoying the squirrels are when they jump on your heads and run away, and talk about the little things, and talk about the big things. Thats how you get a girl. Not by flirting your way through life." She said softly with a sigh.

Fern sighed. She was pleased that the leader of Talonclan liked her. It made all the difference in the world. If that snarky cat who had called her a spy had been leader, she wouldn't have stood a chance. But what make the leader like her? She hadn't done anything brave or heroic, she was only scrawny and useless.
Somehow, the tom's faith in her becoming a warrior made her want to commit to the cause. She wanted to work harder than anything else. She would help anyone worth helping, and be kind, and brave, and follow the rules- Whoaaa! Slow down there, Fern!! You're not even in the clan yet! But somehow she knew that becoming part of the clan would be a very important change in her lifestyle, She would need it. If she declined now, there would always be a sense of absence around her.
"Tigerstar? Shall we go hunting?"

~Oakfang~

"Then would you mind showing me how? You seem to know quite a bit."
He stood up, and arched his back till his legs shook. Oakfang gazed at the camp exit.
"Wanna go near the river? I can swim pretty well. Probably better than you."
In his eyes was a playful challenge to the other cat. This would definatly be a change to his normal routine of winning someone over. His gaze lingered on her glossy fur before looking her in the eye.
"I do also run pretty fast. I mean, my whole family were Jack chasers."
He circled Silverdawn viciously, but meant no ill harm. The tom gently bumped shoulders with her, and started quickly out of camp towards the river, hoping she'd give chase.

➳ "Better swimmer than someone born in a flood? Don't joke around Oakfang I was a farm girl. I could beat you any day." Silverdawn said returning his shoulder bump before getting up and nuzzling Tumblekit before she left. "Stay with Sharktooth" She smiled watching the tired kit flop over onto Sharktooth before leaping up and dashing after Oakfang passing him and reaching the river. She laughed lightly as she tumbled into the river head first diving under the water and resurfacing stretching her legs out.

"Yes I do!"
He launched himself in next to her, sending a pretty large splashed. The cold water sucked the air from his lungs, but it felt nice to not be in the dreadful heat. Oakfang swam over to Silverdawn. Luckily they were in a part of the river that had a weak current. He dove underwater, and swam under her. The warrior emerged with the she-cat draped over his back.
"See? This is what happens when your siblings push each other into the water."
He paddled into deeper water, tail-lengths away from his paws can touch the ground.
"Don't you dare try to do anything funny" he muttered as his strong paws propelled him back towards the shore.

➳ "Now wouldn't that be terrible?" Silverdawn said in a sarcastic dramatic tone as she slipped over his head silently sending his head underwater momentarily but she resurfaced soon, her legs giving her long strides. "And thats what you get when you say not to do anything." She smiled sheepishly before doing a dive and a swirl in the water flicking her long tail through the water resurfacing and breathing in the scent of the fresh water river.
