➳ The she-cat whisked around with a smile after Tumblekit finally fell asleep in the sunlight. Silverdawn moved slinkily to go grab a meal before going for a hunt herself, but ended up running into Oakfang after seeing him seduce one of the she-cats. "Oh gosh sorry Oakfang!" The she-cat laughed slightly backing up and shaking out her fur. "Sedeucing the new girl eh?" She mewed softly sitting down beside him before looking back momentarily to see Tumblekits sides rising and falling slowly as he dozed.

"Uh.. No.." His ear tips burned as he realized she saw him. Giving his tail an embarrassed flick, he nudged the rabbit towards her. "Want some? I don't think even the fattest elder could finish it off themselves!" He stared into her eyes, mesmerized, before looking down to his paws. "What's it like fostering a kit? I mean, like, would you prefer to have your own, or are you good with another cat's?"

➳ Silverdawn let out a soft laugh before nodding to his offer of the part of rabbit. "Thank you." She smiled taking a bite before being ready to respond to his question. "Its not a foster sort of thing. I adopted him, he's mine, and only mine. His mother was sent to be killed by the two legs, so I'm all he's got now." She said softly remembering the time when she went to try and find the mother to see the twolegs having her unconcious in the back of theyre car. She ignored the thoughts though and looked back to Oakfang. "It honestly isn't up to me whose kits I have. If a kit needs a mum I will be the first to jump out of the line. No one deserves to grow up without a family." She said taking a soft breath and turning back to Tumblekit. "Plus soon he's not going to need me, he's almost an apprentice, just a few more sunhighs." She said with a faint, but proud smile before catching Oakfang's eyes with her own green eyes watching carefully. "What about you?"

Tigerstar

Tigerstar thought for a moment. "Well I would have to think about that." He glaced at fern. "Would you like to learn the warrior code today or tomorrow?" He mewed softly.

[Hailow]

Fern decided she needed to do what she did best: explore. "Tigerstar? Do you mind me wandering around a bit before I learn anything?" She was seriously hoping he would allow her, because as a loner, she never let herself cross the line and become an intruder on the main part of the territory. Now that she was a guest, she was allowed to see what the clan cats did everyday. It pleased her to think that she would be able to be in this clan very shortly.

Tigerstar

Tigerstar nodded. "Sure! and if the cats question who you are, just tell them that I'm alright with you here. If they question you farther tell them to come here." He mewed softly looking into her green eyes. He padded back out and set down at the edge of the highledge.

[Hailow]

She nodded her thanks before jumping off the ledge and landing lightly on all four paws. Fern decided that the left side of camp would be her destination first. There was the medicine den that Tigerstar had pointed out earlier that day, smelling strongly of strange scents and a few familiar ones. Then a small crack in the boulders revealed where the smaller cats slept. Apprentices, as Tigerstar had called them. Next, a large cave where some cats were already curled up in the long grass of the desert soaked in the freezing water of the river nearby. Next was the high ledge that she was just on, with a hole on the side where she was shown where to sleep. She decided to call this the middle section of the camp, and move on to the right. Fern then came across some rocks which many cats were laying on, probably to warm their pelts in the chilly night air. The river flowed through right next to them, and on the other side was the tall grass and the log she slept in this morning.
Fern returned to the high ledge and nodded to Tigerstar, before curling up on her bits of bedding, more comfortable then she had been for a very long time.

Tiger star

Tigerstar followed her in and layed down in his nest. He closed his eyes and drifted into a slumber. He dreamed about running in a meadow... With fern.

Fern dozed and woke up several times, but was never startled or afraid. She liked how Tigerstar looked when he slept, that big hunk of a furball was relaxed and peaceful. As she dozed off again, all she could think of were the kits she saw coming into the camp- would she have some of her own, someday?

Tigerstar

Tigerstar woke up and yawned. He saw fern sleeping peacefully. He was attracted to the she cat. He sat down looking at her. When he finally dicided to watch over camp he gave ferns head a soft lick. He trotted out of the den a and sat on the highledge watching the cats stir.
