Goldenbreeze, 8/10, Both fit, but -breeze is a suffix I usually use for calm and agile cats. I personally think Goldentail would work as -tail implies agility.

Mousestep, 10/10, Everything fits this cat. Excellent work.

Snowflower, 10/10, Same as above.

Bluestorm, A blue-grey tom with amber eyes and white paws. He can be sarcastic and rude, but is smart, if a bit... hyper
Blue was for his fur. Storm was for his personality

Gorsecloud, A kind, patient tom with a bright golden pelt and green eyes
Gorse was for his fur. Cloud was for his personality.

Smallclaw, A tiny white tom with amber eyes, despite his size, he is a good fighter
Small was for his size. Claw was for his skills.


All three of these cats are from a Fanfiction that I am writing in the Creative Writing Boards, and I would like to know if there are any better names out there for these cats.

i am a traditional namer.
i usually rate five for prefix and five for suffix.
goldenbreeze, 5/10. traditionally '-foot' would fit her.
mousestep, 7/10. she sounds more like a '-foot' or '-tail' cat. one interpretation of '-step' is that the cat often share mannerisms from the animal they share a prefix with, but it depends of which interpretation you use.
sunflower, 5/10. the sun is sacred to the cats so a kit probably wouldn't get the prefix. if she's naturally maternal she'd earn the suffix '-flower', but i also love -flower medicine cats ; they'd probably be full on mama bear mode any time a cat entered their den.

bluestorm, 5/10. his prefix works but his suffix doesn't, a 'storm' cat has notable fluxes of 'ups' and 'downs.'

hemlockcloud, a white molly with blue eyes, deaf. she is a notably placid cat.
skipperheart, a tortoiseshell molly with green eyes. she is very loyal to her own beliefs.

sootstorm, a black molly with green eyes. received the suffix '-storm' due to the notable flux of 'up' and 'down' in her moods.

This cat is from SnowClan, he is a black tom leader with golden eyes named Nightnose. Of course, he took the -star suffix, but leader names are not allowed. He is 50 moons old.

He has a strong sense of justice. He often is emotionless, however, in some situations, he will crack horrible jokes, and in awkward situations, he is funny. He does not often participate in battles, preferring to crack cases like murders, missing objects, why battles started, etc. The Clan considers him to be the best detective. He is amazing at tracking, and has above average fighting skills.

He actually does not come from SnowClan, but from a rouge family. They had lost him one day while traveling; they assumed he was dead, and he came to SnowClan, as he was EXTREMELY and luckily close. He was around apprentice age.

He never tells his real name to rogues, kittypets, etc. if they visit/stray into their territory. He uses the alias Ravenstar/Ravennose if this happens. He will also hide his name from rouges, kittypets, and others if they join the Clan until he knows he can trust them. In addition, he seems to somehow be able to taste sweet things, such as honey, though nobody in the Clan has been able to prove it.

Nightnose - The double n's sort of knock meh off, but I love the idea of the name and the suffix 'nose' is just so awesome for me xD It also matched the description of the fact that he was a good tracker.
Therefore, Nightnose gets a 9/10 :3

Runningblaze- 8/10 Again, Running- doesn't describe his appearance, and kits are little balls of fluff when they're born, so he couldn't be 'fast' I can see why -blaze was used but -foot would work better Recommended name- Firefoot, Flamefoot, Redfoot, Foxfoot

Yellowfrost- 9/10 Don't let Erin Hunter throw you off with Yellowfang! Yellow- doesn't imply a grey cat. Recommended name- Cinderfrost (It sounds cool)

Twitchnose- 9/10 Again, Twitch- doesn't imply anything about his appearance. Like Runningnose, -nose works for him. Recommended name- Cloudnose

WinterBreeze- Is the leader of WinterClan, but -Star names aren't allowed. She is a white shecat with pale brown markings on her face, and has very long fur. She is patient and quick, agile and friendly. She is quiet, and doesn't always voice her opinions, which can be a downside. She is a good listener, with a soft sounding voice, but an attitude when needed.
MistWhisker- She is a grey-White SheCat with a long, furry tail. She is very quiet, often keeping to herself. She is a good hunter, and a very light stepper. Always eager to help, she is often found in the nursery, helping the Queens, or helping the Elders, despite that being an apprentices job. She is good at hiding, and can often surprise a cat with an attack without them noticing until it's too late. She is also in WinterClan
AshStream- A large, dark grey, Tom cat who is a very good swimmer. He is in RiverClan. He has short fur and a reasonably short tail. He has a taste for fish, and can be a bit fussy and sarcastic, but can also be loud and bouncy. He is a very good fighter, slinking out of the river like it is air.
StormHeart- a grey, cloud like shecat with a feisty temper. She is a little bit shy, but friendly and feisty. A curious cat, but sadly that got the better of her. She snuck out of camp to go hunting, but got killed by a badger. She was brave and would easily stand up to a cat twice her size of it meant standing up for her friends. She is in WhisperClan

Winterbreeze - one||ten cats don't know what winter is, they call it leaf-bare. Leaf-barebreeze doesn't make sense. And, if she is swift, you should use -foot.

Mistwhisker - 8||ten Mist- cats are usually pale gray, or a tabby, but the markings are faint. If her main skill is hunting, then keep -whisker.

Ashstream - 9||ten Ash- and -stream don't sound very comfortable on the mouth. Sootstream sounds good, and it matches the cat's pelt color.

Stormheart - 9.5||ten a bit of a strain on the mouth, but i think it's fine.

Poppyleaf - A dark reddish she-cat who is a very skilled medicine cat. she is very old, but is still alive and has much experience. before her mentor died, she was doing great at remembering herbs. she was named -leaf because of her excelled skills.

Spidernose - A jet-black tom with copper eyes. He is very good at tracking, and has the result of getting -nose as his suffix.

Troutfur - A brown spotted she-cat with green eyes. She has no notable skills.

Snakefoot - A light brown tabby tom with yellow eyes and is very agile. He's the quickest in the Clan, even beating his leader.
