She stared at the black specks. Suddenly, a mouth watering scent caught her attention. She glanced around, trying to follow it. Her nose lead her to a leaf with ragged, not sharp, edges. "These smell really good!" Briarkit pulled it out carefully trying her best not to damage it. "Ih ris wha my muher talls avout?" The leaf muffled her voice, and she gentle put it down. "Is this what my mother talks about? She said there's this thing called catnip. She found it once when she was looking for something else. She said it smelled really good."

~Sparrowwhisker~
His tail lashed angrily, no matter how much he tried to keep his cool. He was normally pretty dull and could work with just about anything. "It doesn't matter about strength. It matters about who keeps a level head and can think clearly no matter what." His tone was low, trying to avoid attracting any attentions. "If you have any problems with me as deputy, why don't you return to camp and talk to him about itl?" The deputy's voice was dangerously kind. He smiled, even though his blood was boiling.

[parker;]

IvyMoon growled to herself and kept walking back to the camp, all she could think was [i]What, now everyone's better than me...." She then looked at a squirrel that as climbing down a nearby tree. She killed it out of anger and simply left it on the forest floor. The IvyMoon lifted her head and got an idea, she turned to the right, away from camp, and headed into the woods. The cat smirked and growled to herself "How about i give them a scare they haven't seen the likes of in a long, long time."

Twistedsecret hissed, snatching the herb away from the kit. "Hey, don't touch that! This is catmint. It's very rare, and it's the only good cure for green cough, a deadly illness." The buff medicine cat carefully put the leaf back in it's place.

[parker;]

IvyMoon looked around then finally saw a hollow, she stepped into it and looked around. The she-cat then collected some moss and made a nest, and also managed to find some fox dung, hiding it in a nearby bush. She then padded away from her new den and looked around for prey.

Finally awake, Fern stretched and decided it was time to explore again. But first, a quick lap at the stream. The cool water was very refreshing in the dusty heat. She scented the air, noticing a group of cats had headed in the other direction. She decided to follow, since there wasn't much else to do. Plus, the she-cat was quite lonely.

Dapppledpaw

Dappledpaw shrugged. "I better be off." She mewed than trotted off to camp. As she entered she went to the prey pile and picked up Chipmunk. It wasn't for her, it was for her mentor. She trotted to the medicine den and saw the kit was still there. When she got in she turned to her mentor. "For you." She muffled threw the chipmunk and layed it down beside tiwistedsecret. She looked over at the kit and saw her fur had raisin up a bit. "Lie your fur flat, we won't hurt you." She let out a small chuckle and glanced back at her mentor. Thinking she didn't have anything for her to do she looked back at the kit. "Want a coyote ride?" She smiled. If they were watching the kit, might aswell have her enjoy it.

Pine paw

Pinepaw looked back at his mentor. "Continue?" He tilted his head waiting for an awanser. They lost one cat but it didn't matter, as long as they renewed the markers.

Twistedsecret stood up. "No, she doesn't. She does want you to get back to work sorting these herbs, though. A medicine cat apprentice with no training will stay a medicine cat apprentice forever."

Dappled paw

Dappledpaw faced her mentor. "While we have the kit in our watch why not give her attention and let her have some fun? don't you remember when you were a kit?" She added. "Plus I don't think a kit wants to learn about herbs....yet." She faced the kit smiling ignoring her mentors blazing eyes. "What do you want to do?" She sat down looking at the kit.

Tigerstar

Tigerstar jumped down from the highledge. The hard landing rippled threw him but he ignored the pain. Tigerstar wanted to go for a walk, he left camp knowing his other deputy will watch over. He soon got a strange scent swelling his nose. He decided to follow it. It started to mix in with pinepaws and sparrowwhiskers scent. Ivymoon must have gone another way, he started I to a sprint but soon stopes when he spotted the cat. He leaped onto the cat hissing. "What are you doing on falcon land territory!" He exclaimed looking into her eyes. She is a bueatiful cat.... He thought but snapped out she's a rouge! he told hisself.

"Umm..." She felt the hostility, or anger, coming off from the older tom. "I don't know. I really wanna find my mother. I'm getting kind of hungry." As if on cue, her stomach rumbled and the kit flattened her ears in embarrassment.

He pondered the possibility of continuing. His claws scraped against the hard earth. Sparrowwhisker was glad his paws were used to the hot ground. Suddenly a scent crossed his nose. It was the same one from that loner. "Pinepaw, scent the air. Can you track that scent of cat?" He glanced at his apprentice, waiting for an answer.

"Go on and play with the kit, but no food for you." Twistedsecret informed his apprentice. Looking at the kit, he added, "How old are you? Do you eat prey yet? If so, have mine. It smells of stupidity."
