Spiderpelt carried the rabbit in his jaws as they headed back to the abandoned twoleg nest. He also felt bad for the sick cats, especially the ones that died. Sparkpaw, Juniperfur, Dovekit, Rowancloud... he listed the names in his head and sadly looked down at his large black paws. He then looked up, not wishing to bump into a tree or something. After all, Spiderpelt was pretty clumbsy.

Ravenpaw followed his mentor out of camp quickly keeping up with his pace dispite his shorter legs. "So where are we off to first?" He asked his mentor excitedly. Maybe he'll take me to the river or the old thunderpath! he thought.

Sandclaw watched as Ravenpaw kept up with his pace. He was very surprised at how quickly Ravenpaw learned. Sandclaw listened to his question and then decided they would head to the river first. "Firstoff, we'll head to the river. Follow me." he ordered and sped up a bit, keeping in mind of his shorter legs. Sandclaw loved having an apprentice, it was actually quite fun.
