I'll do my research on all of them, and probably watch an episode or two of each before deciding which ones I like enough to continue watching.
Thank you to everyone, again.
The suggestions are appreciated, and I now have a list of anime to check out aha.
I have found my people ;p

Espeon101010 wrote:@Ѵяιƨκɛвαв β) I would really recommend Psycho Pass if you're looking for gore in an anime. It's kind of mind focused like Mirai Nikki, but a lot more centre around psychopathic criminals and a falsely utopian society which is SUPER messed up when people look deep enough.
I agree with Uchuujin about how Baccono! is super gory and that viewers should be a certain age just to understand all the nuances and plots and whatnot. What I really loved about that anime is that you can sort of watch it out of order and it still makes sense for the most part.
Blood+ is another that I might recommend. It isn't so much gory as it is combat focused, but there is lots of blood and monsters and action going on
nonono if you want legit mind focus( for yourself, not just characters itself in the anime) go for Texhnolyze-(gore-y in the beginning) , Ergo Proxy, Paranoia Agent, Serial Experiments Lain , little bit but not so strong Shinsekai Yori and Haibanne Renmei or The Tatami Galaxy. I missed some but these are the big ones that would actually make you think if you really wanted to.

I've watched Haibane Renmei and thoroughly enjoyed it! You're right that it makes you really think because of the way it seems like they're being discriminated against even though some people think the humans try and protect them. The whole day of flight was really well done in my opinion and Reki's turmoil (and the anime as a whole) was something that inspired me to think a lot about how life can be so complex just by the people you meet and the influence you give yourself. There's a lot more that I could talk about, but then I would need to write an essay on it and I really don't want to do that on my summer vacation.

I'll be sure to check them all out <3
@Uchuujin;;
I appreciate the short explanations on each of the anime.
I am a young teenager, but I find any gore fine to deal with- anime or realistic.
Also, I tend to understand a lot more then others around my age.
I'll get back to you on it ^^

watch Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni
It has a rather slow start but gets very good after a few episodes.
I'll give a basic description about the show --
So basically there are five main characters, Keiichi, Mion, Rena, Rika, and Satoko (with Shion being somewhat a main character) that all live in a town known as Hinamizawa. Their lives couldn't seem to be better, living in a town where everyone seems to knows one-another and respect eachother, having fun, after school activities that seem to make you smile even if you're not there. It stays this way until the day of the Cotton Drifting Festival, which is that day when a character is somewhat.. "Triggered" causing multiple psychological things to just go haywire and mess your brain up. After about five episodes of this mayhem though, it all resets.
Each death in the show is extremely bloody and I would scream at you if you watch the dub, so watch the sub if you do plan on seeing the show
There are currently two seasons, and it is a very good show.
I reccomend every watches it, reads the manga, or plays the visual novel(which is the original product)

I was in an anime club along with one of my friends on CS as well. We met once a week at lunch in a class (unless there was other stuff going on) and would watch one episode of an anime. Overall, we would watch around three episodes per series so people could get a taste of the sort of stuff they like and to watch a variety of animes over the year
