Lynn shrugged, "Curiousity isn't a bad thing, though they take it too far." He said with a smirk. He had to admit he was curious about the other species, though he knew the dangers so he made sure to keep his distance unless it was necessary like now.

caleb had been relaxing, humming as he picked small things from the large coral reef, taking dead peices of coral and a few snails off of the reef. he didn't like snails. caleb put the slimy little sea bugs onto the sandy ground, not wanting them to be around the reefs. the small fish circled him occasionally and he did have one bottom feeder on him, but he didn't seem to mind too much. of course he turned to see another merman hiding behind coral and just sighed. " hey, what are you doing?" he asked curiously, picking up a starfish that had crawled onto him and placing it back on the coral patch.

seon had been rushing back and forth, readying more crustacean traps and beginning to clean a fish easily and make sushi, though his ring slipped off and into the water when he reached over the edge to rinse off his hand. this was unfortunate, seeing as it was a gift from his mother before she had passed away when he was much younger. Kidd couldn't swim, he really couldnt, thus just watched as the item sunk to the bottom of the ocean. " oh no."

Lynn didn't have to thrash as much as long as the humans watched from a distance, only moving if they came close. Some took or their cameras or phones to get a picture, though this resulted in Lynn splashing them repeatedly. He was actually having fun when something shiny caught his attention, and being the hoarder that he was, he was instantly drawn to it. He swam towards it and picked up the ring, examining it carefully with a smirk. Lynn had a thing for shiny objects or strange things he found, becoming very possessive over them and refusing to share; it was honestly a bad habit of his.

the young man simply then sighed,taking off his shirt and slipping into the water, the anchor down and holding onto the rope as he looked around for the general area the heirloom had fallen. " oh no" he repeated a few times. it was clear that he had ttrouble swimming, but he also knew he needed to get the item back. it was very important to him. " please be ok, please be ok." he pulled fingers through his hair and attempted to figure out what to do next, and how to get the item back.

Lynn get something brush against his tail making him swim away before looking back, seeing it was a hand. Now why was a hand just splashing around? Did this ring belong to the hand? Lynn glanced the ring over before swimming back to the hand. He approached from the bottom before grabbing the mysterious hand's wrist holding in place before slipping the ring on. He hated giving up new treasure but if it already had an owner it technically wasn't something he would want someone searching for later. Soon enough he released the hand and darted forward, making sure he was out of sight just in case.

the young man then simply jumped a tad when his hand touched a large fish, a hand then grabbing his own with an oddly careful grip and slipping something on his finger. he pulled his hand out of the water and saw the ring and of course he sighed thankfully, though he was curious as to how and who had given it back. he pulled himself from the water and just found a colourful broach he had bought for his ex girlfriend though he never got rid of it after her inevitable break up with him. it was a butterfly, adorned with jewels of every shape and colour adorning them on a silver base. he then did toss it into the water to thank whomever had done it, though he was unsure if they would even get it.

Lynn watched carefully, making sure whoever he gave he ring to didn't decide to come after him. Soon enough something shiny started floating down, maybe they were giving the ring back? He swam up to snatch the object, seeing it was instead something much shinier than the ring. He examined it carefully swimming off a bit before peeking his head above he water's surface, wanting to get a look at this interesting person. No one just threw in shiny objects, no humans valued them way to much to just throw them away; this one was either stupid or trying to bait the merman. So for now he'd keep a distance and watch, and if the guy spotted him he could easily make a break for it.

the young man simply dried his hair with a towel, simply finishing making lunch at that point. he was hungry and he did spot a little head poke out from the water, which made him a little more curious. he took a little floating pad the size of a large plate and put a few pieces of sushi on it as well as a small jar where he had placed soja sauce. he placed a fork and a pair of chopsticks on the thing, then being sure there was a decent ammount of food before sending the little floating meal out towards the other as a peace offering and a curious gift. he had a lot of food, and didnt mind sharing with the odd but kind boy in the salt waters.

Lynn watched him with a raised eyebrow, what was he doing? He noticed him putting weird objects on something that was floating before pushing it toward the merman. He remained still before approaching the weird hing. He examines it for a few seconds before sniffing it, he poked a piece of the sushi. He wasn't sure what the two sticks were for though, maybe decoration. He picked up a piece of the raw fish before sticki it in his mouth, eating it before swallowing it. It was fish! He was quite happy continuing to eat before noticing the sauce, he dipped his finger in slightly before licking it. He recoiled a bit before trying it again, it had a weird flavor though t wasn't horrible. Soon enough he finished off the sushi before glancing at the male once more, pushing the plate back as he swam closer. His guy wasn't trying to kill him and even offered food, maybe humans weren't dangerous?

Mir swam on, feeling various emotions. Boredom, since it was a cooler, darker region of the ocean; peace, because it was quiet and mysterious, just as she liked it; a bit fearful. What if Hunters defided to attack her? With her maimed tail, there was no way she could escape. It was a fraction of a fraction chance of survival if she did happen to encounter the Hunters. She glanced up, searching above and around for any signs of her colony. However, she when she looked up for a bit too long, she felt something crash into her. She looked to see it was another mermaid, and immediately envy flared up. That scarlet tail would look fabulous with my hair, came the instant thought. The other mermaid stammered, and Mir was puzzled. Why was she so worried? Did she think Mira would be offended because she was busy looking for ships? Possibly. "Hey, chill, I wasn't paying attention, so it's not entirely your fault," she stated slowly, choosing the right words.
