"There's a river here, and there's undoubtedly a town somewhere nearby. I'd guess it's upriver, near a slower part of the river, somewhere a little more level." He rambled, his explorer instincts kicking up his adrenaline levels. He glanced back down at Chihiro, remembering that he was less adept at navigating rough terrain. He jumped down from the rock he'd perched himself on, smiling lightly. "I can guide you along if you want..." Shiloh offered. "Since you're not so used to hiking like I am."

Zacharie blinked slowly at Junko, not speaking for a second due to apprehensive uncertainty. "Well, it's always nice to meet someone new." "T-take something..?" Freud winced. He felt too...prideful to steal or trick. "I think we're better off with what you said before that," he commented. "I can make potions...they're not very potent, though. They're really simple." He knelt down to Zero and showed the bottle filled with a strange blue liquid:

"Do you think it has effects here, in this strange land?" In order to test his theory, Freud sat himself down and uncorked the bottle, pouring a little onto his finger and tasting it. "It still tastes as bitter as ever, but... I can't see the difference. You give it a try..?"

Claus huffed once he had finally caught up to Maya, but only got a minute to take a breather and put his helmet on before he noticed she had taken off once again. A soft groan escaped his lips, but he pushed himself forward again in attempt to catch the older girl. Of all the things that could have come with him to this place, why hadn't his wings been part of it? At least then he would have been able to fly to keep up with Maya instead of trying to catch her on foot. He didn't mind the running at all but the fact that his legs were much shorter just made it hard to keep up. At least he had been able to put the helmet on so the weight of it in his arms wasn't slowing him down even more. "Does food always get you to move this fast?!" he called out to the girl, hoping that she'd be able to hear him.
