Tabbyfang

Tabbyfang looked at dawndream in shock. Did I hear her right?? Slowly happiness spread over Tabbyfang. I won't be the only cat cooped up in the nursery I will have someone to talk to and maybe watch over my kits so I can get back to my duties! "Really??? That's great I bet you and Russettree are thrilled have you told Owlpaw and Lilypaw yet??"

Dawndream

"Lilypaw and Owlpaw have already settled down in their den and I would want to wake them. Since we will be moving into the nursery why don't we collect some moss." Dawndream was also going to pick out some feathers of a piece of prey for Tabbyfang since she would be kitting soon, but she knew if she said that out loud she might loose an ear.

"Oh I see..." Tabbyfang said dryly "Well, if that's the only way I can be of help since I'm apparently not 'fit' to continue being deputy..." She trailed off her anger returning.

Ashpaw

Ashpaw ate it and recited. "Tansy for aches"

Dawndream

"Or you could lay in the nursery while I collect moss and feathers for the softest bed in the clan."Dawndream wasn't going to have Tabbyfang thinking collecting moss was demoting. "We wouldn't want Tabbyfang to do anything that counts as work, that way a queen farther from having kits could do the work." Dawndream was getting impatient with Tabbyfang.

"No! I can do it!" Skythunder always to told me to take walk when I'm mad." Sorry Dawndream I shouldn't take my anger out on you. Would you mind garthering some moss for me? I'm going for a walk."

Dawndream

"Sure, but if you see a good wad of moss you should take it." Dawndream left the camp without saying anything else. She quickly came upon a tree with moss covering the roots peaking out of the ground. Dawndream started to collect it with swift swipes of her claw.

"I will! Thanks!" Tabbyfang called over her shoulder.

Dawndream

Dawndream collected all the moss she could carry and went back to camp. On her way Maplestar crashed into her "Sorry Dawndream I'm in a hurry" Maplestar kept running and Dawndream dismissed her leader, she got back to camp and layed out the moss in the nursery, careful not to disturb Birchkit. She went to the fresh kill pile and took a thrush. carefully plucking the feathers she gave the softest to Tabbyfang but made sure it was not to obvious. When she was done Dawndream had much less bedding for her nest but was still comfortable. She lay down to make sure that when Tabbyfang came back she wouldn't see a difference in the bedding. Dawndream ate half the thrush and left the other half for Tabbyfang when she came back. She let herself fall into a deep slumber while she could still feel the kits in her belly.

Maplestar

Maplestar waited for Tabbyfang to disappear into the night before she leaped of the rock. She ran into the forest but forgot where she was going for a moment and crashed into Dawndream, "Sorry Dawndream I'm in a hurry" Maplestar then kept following the scent of Tabbyfang. When her scent became so strong Maplestar knew Tabbyfang had been there only a heartbeat ago she slowed down and hid in the undergrowth. She didn't dare twitch a muscle not necessary for hiding. Maplestar caught sight of Tabbyfang and kept one eye on her while staying hidden. If Tabbyfang knew she was there she might as well say good bye to another life.

Birchkit

Birchkit was roused by Dawndream and waited to hear her soft breathing before getting up and leaving. He saw Snowheart in the clearing and walked over to her, "Silverpelt will shine brightly tonight" he commented.

Tabbyfang

Tabbyfang continued into the forest, threading lightly on the undergrowth. She stared up at the moon. And continued in till she reached the river at the border of Sunclan territory and the start of Pineclan territory.

Skythunder

Seeing that Mudsplash was fast asleep he slipped out of the den to find Mapplestar rushing out of camp and Dawndream watching her leave. He walked up to Dawndream, " What's Maspplestar's rush?" he asked Dawndream.
