Launch's head spun. Edgetail! She thought. I forgot to visit him today! She then remembered something. He was part of HopeClan, a rival clan. But he was nice! He would never hurt another cat. Or... Launch shook her head. What a silly thing to think. She trotted over to the spot they met yesterday. He was just then walking back into camp. Launch didn't bother to follow him, she felt her heart drop a bit when he darted over to another cat. He doesn't care about me, Launch thought. He probably already likes someone else.
she thought. Her heart sank. She walked slowly back to camp, her fang necklace dangled as she walked away. She could hear nothing but the sound of her breathing and her paws moving the pebbles beneath her. She sat down looking over the hills and mountains. Her icy blue eyes were clouded.
