Tex glared at him under her helmet, still trying to figure out how to beat him. She kept her guard up as she changed the topic casually. "You said three days."

"Yeah. Two days now since I said that yesterday. Never said I wasn't gunna be a jerk and try to pick you guys off before then." He said, grinning slightly under his helmet.

Tex grit her teeth. "You gave us three days to prepare for a fight. You tried to fight us before the time was up. Even if I were a villain, I wouldn't go that low." She sneered.

"Doesn't mean I can't experiment. See what happens and how you react to pressure when I take out two of your best." Chameleon stated, smirking greatly.

"I was the one the freelancers depended on most after Maine went rogue. Even before that." Tex replied flatly. "I'm used to the pressure."

Chameleon smirked. "And what about when he did go rogue. He beat you down pretty easily after all. Then again, that was a different mindset and all. I'm sure captain flowers wouldn't be too happy seeing him turn that way." He chuckled.
"Freaking knew it." O'malley stated from his placement on the floor.

(( Yeah- thats basically it-
Uh.. They're just battling and the most interesting thing thats happened is Tex getting stabbed in the leg, O'Malley shooting at Chameleon to distract him right when he was about to shoot Tex and now they're sorta just talking but not letting their guards down. ))

He did beat her down when he went rogue, but that was only because of Sigma. Sigma had made him stronger. Before Sigma went rampant, Maine was never on the leaderboard or anything. Tex didn't say anything, she just waited. Was he going to keep talking or finally attack?
