hey, 'sup? my name is Zachary Isaac Goode and if you can't see that i'm clearly a guy, you may
want to go and get your eyes tested. i'm joking! i'm like most 19 year olds, i think. i like
going out with friends, playing music, and just having a good time. oh, and of course,
horse riding is my passion, despite how weird it looks. i'm a true adrenaline junkie, so
cross country really gets my heart pumping. other than horse riding, i love music,
and have achieved grade five on piano. i know, serious stuff!
i have been brought up in a great family environment, with my parents, and my
2 sisters. that being said, i'm the only son, so i used to get away with more stuff
than my sisters. i'm a christian, and i'm devoted to my religion. i'm honest,
loyal and kind; but i'm also cripplingly shy. so, i do
not make friends easily; but once i do, its a firm bond.
when i was 14, my parents bought me my first horse. i had been riding for some years
before, but hadn't been able to find a stables to keep my own horse. so, when my parents
surprised me with silver lining, i couldn't believe it. my parents had bought her a few
weeks before, and had kept her out of sight on my grandfathers ranch. for 3 years,
we competed around the county, and qualified for a higher competition. however, my mare went lame,
so i couldn't compete. by the time she was fit again, the season was over. so, we spent the summer on
my grandparents ranch, where silver lining ran with midnight blues. we only realized
she was carrying a couple of weeks into the season, so we didn't compete that season either. she did, however,
drop her healthy ball of trouble, battleships, nearly 11 months later. and how, here we are!

Silver Lining is an enigma; as soon as you think you know her inside out, you discover something new. She's the kind of girl you can never pinpoint; where that is location, or feelings. This pretty mare is a happy, bubbly and excitable type, once you make friends with her. She gets stuck in with activities only beaten by a foal's energy. However, she can also be rather passive and skittish, and cripplingly shy; choosing to stay away from most mares and stallions: spending most of her time alone. Or that was how it was, before she birthed her colt, Battleships. Silver is Zach's only competing horse, and she is spoilt rotten. She does have a flare for cross country - but try her at dressage or showjumping and she loses interest. If Zach isn't riding this mare, she will be stroppy - and doesn't respond to other riders very well. Due to this, most people think that she is a feisty mare. However, if she gets to trust you, then she'll be as sweet to you as she is to her rider.║

Battleships is a young colt, and will be growing up at Northern Valley Stables. He's the kind of boy you can never tire out; even if you've been running with him all day. This handsome young colt is a happy, inquisitive and energetic type, despite the goings on around him at the busy school. His dam, Silver Lining, is Zachary's Azteca mare; a flashy mare with a flare for cross country. Briar's sire, Midnight Blue's, is a young stallion at the family ranch. At a young age, Battleships managed to get lost when Zach and his family were moving the mares to another field. However, he found his way back to her, and doesn't move far from her sight anymore. At this age, Briar is quite skittish and clumsy - often tripping over his own hooves, or getting stuck. And currently, as the only foal at the stables, he is quite lonely - and will seek out anyone or anything to play with. Be that another horse or a butterfly, or any other creature in fact.║
