Amber quietly started walking to the campfire and chose a spot where no one was sitting too close to her. Well not yet anyways since there was still more campers to come. She gingerly sat down and stared at the ground avoiding any eye contact as she played gently with her sleeve. She did feel a bit nervous but that's only natural for shy people. She glanced up at the ground as looked at the other people around her before returning her gaze to the ground.

Mick Othren looked around from where he sat on one
of the logs surrounding one of the camps fire pits. He
had heard that some students used bones to grill thi-
ngs over the camp fire with. The boy wasn't sure of
course whether to believe it or not though, for all he
knew it was just some silly hyped up rumor. After all,
last year he had heard that the students without powers
were humans that had snuck it. That of course had
been utter bogus.

Mari Lau walked quietly to the nearest campfire. It
was growing late and in the dark of night she longed
for warmth. Whilst the cabins were well made, they
simply couldn't compare to a live camp fire as far as
temperature went. Not to mention, she enjoyed
watching fire as it danced about, burning everything
in its path. And while it meant having to be surroun-
ded by others of her kind, it was a sacrifice she was
willing to take.
