Why Shark Week is Important;; Shark Week is important because it is an entire week dedicated to a predator that normally is scaring all people. Some people that get attacked feel it is the sharks fault and they go out and kill sharks, but really that doesn't make it any better. When you kill sharks you are destroying the ocean ecosystem. The sharks are important to keep seal and fish populations down, not to mention the sharks didn't come on land to get you, you we to into the ocean, the sharks territory, to get to them, so really it is the humans fault. Raising awareness for this sad fact is why shark week is important, along with just loving and learning about these apex predators.
Cool Fact about Sharks;; Sharks' livers contain lots of oil. This makes the liver a relatively buoyant organ, which helps sharks keep their balance in the water
