Thunders is a quiet individual, letting his actions speak for him. Due to his past, he and his siblings were always taught to be quiet, and only speak when spoken to. While the others had troubles dealing with this rule, Thunders has always been naturally quiet, even when he was a baby his crying with very limited. He always did what he was told and much more. As the strong man of the house, Thunders always did things like cutting the lawn, fixing things, and even standing guard when times were chaotic or unsafe. He cares a lot for his family, he just shows his feelings differently than others. When the time came to being old enough to go out on his own, Thunders immediately left, not even staying for the celebration of their birth and departure. This was due to his ultimate passion; a passion he trained on for years right next to his Pokemon hobby; mixed martial arts. He bought a single room house, equipment, and lived off of training and fast food that burned off from his intense workouts. This has lead Thunders to not only be quiet, but now it was scary. While intimidating, Thunders still remains as the quiet but meaningful hard-worker he was raised to be. Also, if you threaten people that are close to him, he will hunt you down until you're completely broken. Dead serious here.

Cash (Pangoro) @ Choice Band
Ability: Scrappy
Adamant Nature
- Superpower
- Knock Off
- Gunk Shot
- Ice Punch
Cash is an interesting character. To put it bluntly, you will see many similarities between him and Thunders. Both are tall, dark, and quiet, letting their actions speak for themselves. Thunders named his Pangoro after the great Johnny Cash, because it was the melody alone that allowed the songwriter to become so successful; you didn't even need lyrics to tell the story each of his blues sang. With that in mind, all it takes is a sound victory dealt swiftly, and you'll be able to see what kind of Pokemon Cash is. The Pangoro also tends to whistle the melody to "Ring of Fire", even before he and Thunders met.
Madonna (Serperior) @ Light Clay
Ability: Contrary
Calm Nature
- Leaf Storm
- Reflect
- Light Screen
- Leech Seed

Named after the famous singer, Madonna the Serperior is everything you could typically say about a woman like Madonna. She's "precious", believing that as the queen, she doesn't meddle with little things like squabbles and conflict. She would much rather visit a shop and buy on top of her countless jewelry and make-up. A total fashion queen, but don't let this fool you. There are three things this beauty pageant champion cannot stand; mocking her fashion, anybody in grubby wears, and offending her friends. while at times she will use her fellow Pokemon friends as pack mules or massage servants, Madonna is extremely thankful for their kindness, and shows this by her fierce protection of their well being, including Thunders. In return, Thunders holds her with high respect, admiring both her beauty and her power. she was his starter Pokemon, and the two hold a powerful bond.

Ringo (Wobbuffet) @ Custap Berry
Ability: Shadow Tag
Impish Nature
- Encore
- Mirror Coat
- Counter
- Destiny Bond
Despite his namesake being the drummer of The Beatles, Ringo is far from handsome and polite. He's a little punk who often times uses his silly looking acts to cover up his true intent. A prankster, this little imp often pranks other Pokemon, especially his teammates, simply because he's awfully good at it. He has successfully pranked Thunders and each of his teammates at least ten times without failure, but at the rate he does it at, he may never stop. He's also extremely gluttonous, refusing to use any item in battle that isn't a berry or other food type. However, he isn't all bad. He's very comical, and he can cheer just about anybody up.
Mercury (Scizor) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Light Metal
Hasty Nature
- Superpower
- U-Turn
- Bullet Punch
- Knock Off

Mercury is a temperamental Scizor that has a hard time dealing with patient opponents. Extremely eager to kick butt and take names, she is a born fighter and the team's token "tsundere", as opponents have called her. Thunders named her Mercury, as the thing that brought them together was when she and Thunders were caught in a snowstorm, and Thunders offered her to stay at his hotel room, where they listened to Bohemian Rhapsody. After they gained each other's trust and friendship, he named her after the late Freddie Mercury, and to this day, she loyally keeps the name like a military badge.
Jagger (Tyrantrum) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Rock Head
Jolly Nature
- Head Smash
- Outrage
- Dragon Claw
- Superpower
Ohhhhh boy, where do we begin with Jagger? Named after the founder of the Rolling Stones, this Tyrantrum is the most interesting character you'll come across. If Madonna is the queen that needs catering, Jagger is the king who is more like a little kid than a fierce emperor. He loves to have fun, run around, and drink lots of berry juice. A party animal and always optimistic, Jagger may come off as a.....challenging Pokemon to deal with. However, Thunders knows whats needed to keep this happy-go-lucky dinosaur a force to be reckoned. On a normal occasion, Jagger would rather chase bird Pokemon or Beautifly flocks, but as soon as Thunders tells what horrible thing the opponent did to Madonna (whether it actually happened or not), Jagger hits that breaking point of raw anger and vengeance. Head over heels for the Serperior, Jagger will fight tooth and claw just for her protection. She finds this charming, if anything.
Rose (Ampharos) @ Ampharosite
Ability: Static
Shiny?: Yes
Bold Nature
- Rest
- Heal Bell
- Volt Switch
- Dragon Pulse

The shiny Ampharos of the team, Rose has an interesting history with Thunders. At one point in his life, Thunders met another Rainbow Paint Wolf named Sharyn, and they met via their love of Pokemon, bumping into each other during a tournament. Since then, they fell madly in love, and it was Rose that stayed as her signature Pokemon since she was a child, before anybody knew what a "shiny" was, it was luck that Rose was one of them. However, Sharyn had met with an unfortunate fate, and disease was taking her life away. Rose was given to Thunders as her way of being his guardian angel in all his times of being down. It is Rose that stays as a permanent part of the team, and due to his once shining relationship with Sharyn, Rose loves him like a big brother. The two are close, and they protect each other through all their troubles. While Sharyn named her Rose a long time ago, the only song Thunders could bare to listen to was "Knockin' on Heaven's Door" by Guns 'n' Roses. Ironic, yet symbolic all at once.
story ;;
The rules dictated that should two trainers meet eyes, a battle was issued. However, the three parties thought the same thing: the rule didn't count when all of them were looking to heal their Pokémon teams. The three trainers looked nothing alike; one with his striking yellow fur had his party healed and was sitting on a seat near the Pokémon Center exit with his Pokéballs rested safely on his belt; one was anxiously waiting as the Nurse Joy began to heal their team, gritting their teeth as they flicked their sleek aquatic blue tail; the last one awaiting her turn to do the same thing and heal as she looked on with the fiery glint in her eyes reflected in her bright appearance.
By the time the sleek blue trainer had retrieved their now-healed Pokémon, they accidentally bumped into the trainer behind them. The look of horror in their eyes as they looked at her did not fathom how they really felt, fear struck them hard. They immediately bowed their apologies and skittered towards the seat near the other wolf, shuddering as they adjusted their Pokéballs on their belt. "It's okay, Sonny," they whispered, only just loud enough for the trainer clad in yellow to hear. He looked at the fearful blue wolf, wondering what had happened. Meanwhile, the female wolf stood at the counter and handed her team to the Nurse, glancing almost disapprovingly at the interaction between the other two. She averted her eyes from them and tapped her feet impatiently, hinting her need to hurry to the Nurse who was already doing her best to help heal the team she had.
Now the yellow wolf still said nothing, instead looking at his watch and pretending that he was busy and made attempts not to look at the troubled Sonny who was trying to contain themselves. It was, more or less, a rather awkward situation. Besides the Nurse, the trio was the only one in the Center, until the orange-furred trainer took back her healed team and left the place. Sonny, once they had regained themself, also walked outside, followed by the yellow wolf, whose name was Thunders. They then separated, seemingly going to different places. Nuria the flame-colored trainer went to one route, Sonny to another, and Thunders took a look around the town he was in; Viridian city. Neither of the three seemed interested in going to see the gym, probably because of their already strong teams. Maybe they had each beaten the gym in their own time. While time passed, they began to see each other more often during the day. Both Sonny and Nuria kept coming back to the Center in order to heal their training Pokémon while Thunders spent some time fishing, and then merely walking near the trees that enclosed the city. Such went by as Sonny returned to the Center and met Nuria again, and this time Nuria was the one who accidentally bumped shoulders with them. Still, being the rude and hotheaded trainer she was, she brushed off the shaken blue wolf one more, leaving them wondering if it was them or her who did something wrong.
When the sun was about to set, the three surprisingly met all at once again, going to the Pokémart together, presumably to purchase supplies. First came Nuria who walked with a confident air that neither of the other two had. Then came Thunders, whose posture was that of a quiet and skilled trainer, and last and quite admittedly least in terms of bravery was the skittish Sonny who walked on two legs that trembled like stilts. They were nervous as they had glimpsed Thunders walk in as well as thought of the probability that Nuria was there too. Of course, they didn't know the names of these two trainers yet, which made it all the more intimidating. Still, Sonny took a breath and decided that they needed supplies and it simply wouldn't do to wait till the other two trainers had finished picking out their purchases. They went inside just as Nuria had her supplies stuffed in her bag, but instead of saying anything disapproving, she walked off to one side as if she was waiting for the other two. Thunders was seemingly oblivious to this, or simply didn't wan to say anything on the matter and instead picked out what he needed. To both Nuria and Sonny, his voice was not what they expected as he told the cashier what he needed; they hadn't heard him speak before this. Thunders paid the cashier and then turned to walk out, but realized how Nuria was still waiting. Sonny, now rendered nervous again, walked up front to order while being deathly aware of the other two trainers’ eyes watching them.
When they were all finished, Sonny looked at Nuria who was the one to have started the behavior of waiting. They stammered while they asked her, “W-why did you wait f-for me?” They would have slapped themself for the outrageously shy voice they had spoken in, but it was too late. She turned on him and Sonny could have sworn they were better off flying away, if only they had a Pokémon to do it with, rather than to listen to what the flaring trainer had to say. She looked like she was between emotions herself. “I... I just thought since you looked strong, maybe we could battle!” The ending to her sentence surprised Sonny, but Thunders quietly spoke before they could do so themself. “Perhaps you might want to battle me first.” His monotone challenge, directed at Nuria, was what she looked like the was taking as an insult more than a challenge. Three trainers in front of a Pokémart, and all ready to begin their battle.
Little did they know a trip to the Pokécenter and a small conversation later, those battles were going to change the course of their adventures together.
