What if maybe it's his brother then. That's all I got though....
I still think it's the kid though.
MattPat's argument of why FNaF 4 scientifically makes no sense is literally what scientifically makes no sense.
(I haven't actually seen it, but I've gotten the basic idea if what it's about. I might just go and watch it just to see what other crap I can completely tear apart.)
Essentially he's saying that with the kid's frontal lobe removed, he shouldn't actually be feeling fear.
First of all, the part of the brain that induces the feeling of fear is
not in the frontal lobe; it's a gland in the lower cerebral cortex called the amygdala and is nowhere near the frontal lobe.
What
might render FNaF 4 scientifically impossible is that the frontal lobe controls cognitive and motor function, thought, learning, and memory. In a coma or not, this kid should not be able to remember the incident at all, let alone have recurring nightmares about it.
But let me tell you all something: my twin sister suffered a massive brain hemhorrage shortly after birth and had to have over half her brain removed. Almost eighteen years later, not only is she alive and healthy, but she can communicate and eat properly and walk with assistance and express emotions other than anger, all things professional doctors said she would never be able to do.
Given a miracle of that proportion, there isn't a doubt in my mind that this kid can still remember that incident well enough to have those nightmares about it.
This post may be edited later with dissections of this chicken wing theory of his.
EDIT: While I'm in the process of debunking theories, I've been doing some more research on the "Phone Guy Can't Be Purple Guy" debunk and found a new delicious tidbit of information.
In the end-game cutscene in the third game, ya know, the one where Purple Guy dies, you can see the restaurant in a state of degredation and disrepair. It's pretty obvious it hasn't been tended to in a long time. Considering that in earlier minigames Purple Guy destroys the original animatronics, it can be assumed that this event happens after the first game, as the animatronics are still fully functional
and murderous in the first game. While this debunks my "missed info" bit from the original theory debunk of Purple Guy having died during the events of the second game (which, as it happens, the five murders so often spoken of actually happened during the events of the second game, as the original animatronics only become active after Night Three), it doesn't matter much. In the first game, Phone Guy dies during the process of recording his message to Mike, which turns the theory that Purple Guy is Phone Guy on its head
because Phone Guy has been long dead by this point.
