From within the camp, the white and ginger she-cat basked in the light of the sun's rays, her fluffy pelt soaking up the warmth completely. A low purr emanated from the heart of her throat as she stretched out on the ground, blue eyes squeezing shut briefly before cracking open once more, tail tip twitching. From this position she allowed her mind to wander, having nothing better to do, in her mind. Absently she listened to the exchange between Cedarclaw and Lightningpaw.

Rounding his jaws into a delicate yawn, he rolled over right out of his nest, bumping right into a small rock that jutted out the side of the entrance. A squeak tumbled from the maw of the little catling, blue eyes snapping wide open as his two-toned fur fluffed up, legs propelling him straight up into the air, causing him to appear somewhat larger than he really was. Upon seeing it was just a rock, however, Harumi forced his fur to lie flat and he approached the rock in a more calm manner, reaching out to paw at it in an attempt to dislodge it. "Oh, dear. Think it's time for a bit of remodeling, I reckon." he murmured thoughtfully, accent thickening as he spoke.

DuskLights' ears twitched as he heard Whistlepaw call to him. He peaked his out of the opening of the den, his jaws still full with the sweet tasting and smelling catmint. "Keep your eyes open for juniper berries!" He called out to her. It came out a muffled mess. He placed the herbs into their rightful place before he stepped out of the den. His fur now strongly smelt of sweet herbs, his eyes stung from his coughing fits. DuskLight dropped into a sitting position underneath the roots of the den, enjoying the shade it gave his thick fur.

Lightningpaw

Lightningpaw looked at Cedarclaw and shrugged his broad shoulders. "I don't know, I just got up. I wonder if he will take me training today," he grunted.

Fang

Fang arrived at the riverbank and dipped his head to lap up the crisp cool water. He lifted his head, shaking the small droplets off his whiskers before he stretched and started to scent that air for prey.

he walked up to lightingpaw. "do you want me to train you today?" asked. "good morning cederclaw" he said greeting his clan mate.

Ears twitching, she lifted her head, gazing off in Dusklight's direction curiously. Pressing scorched pawpads against the warming ground, she hauled herself to her paws and gave her pelt a discreet shake, sending bits of grass and dust fluttering to the ground. A pirrup of greeting escaped her as she approached the medicine cat, for leisure rather than for an ailment. "I daresay today will be quite delightful." she mused to the medicine cat, pausing to pay unspoken respect before taking a seat beside him in the shade. She began to groom her pelt, already feeling the cool overshadowing beginning to leech some of the heat away.

Lightningpaw looked at Moontail dipped his head. "Yes, I would love to," he meowed nodding. He looked around camp a bit.

Fang

With a spring in his step, the loner exited his den, humming low under his breath. "Perhaps I oughta go down to the river and look for some more sticks." he chirped to himself, altering his course with the step of his paw. He snaked easily through the foliage, already well-acquainted with this route of his. He routinely visited the river for his basic needs, sometimes to look for sticks or stones or even moss if he needed to make den alterations. He'd just arrived in the next moment, having not been to far off, when he noticed a rogue lapping at the water. Unfortunately he wasn't downwind, but even so he seemed to forget the fact he could be scented, hurrying to crawl underneath a holly bush to watch Fang with unabashed curiosity.

Lightningpaw looked at Moontail dipped his head. "Yes, I would love to," he meowed nodding. He looked around camp a bit.

Fang

Fang scented the area and then scented another cat. He scented that it wasn't one of those clan cats, another cat like him probably. "Who's there," he meowed, whipping his gray head toward a bush where the scent came the strongest.

DuskLight watched as SpeckledMoon sat beside him. He dipped his head in greeting, ears folding back shyly. He took note of her form, no wounds and no sounds of any sickness such as greencough. A sigh of relief escaped his lips. He tilted his slightly at her words, blinking his pale green eyes. With a soft smile her turned to face the camp "You always were great at seeing the best of everything" DuskLight watched as SpeckledMoon began to groom, wondering wether to interrupt. "Is there a reason why you know today will be great?" He tilted his head towards her.
