Larkpaw padded after the other apprentice, grinning at her. "Yeah, sure you are," he mewed. Green eyes shone brightly as he sat down beside Fallenpaw at the fresh-kill pile. Morning was definitely his best time of day. Not her's, though, he thought, amused. It took a lot of self-restraint to not lean over and fix the wayward grey fur sticking up. She probably wouldn't appreciate that. The lithe molly had never shown much interest in him, but Larkpaw was determined to at least try to befriend her.
The ginger tom was jolted out of his reverie by Leopardfang's voice. He turned, ears perked up, excited at the prospect of hunting with a cat that had recently been one of them. "That would be great! I don't know about this one, though," he joked, reaching out a paw to poke at the half-asleep Fallenpaw's side.
