☾ Hello, and welcome to the form + discussion thread of this roleplay, about a bunch of stray dogs hoping to find themselves a paradise of a home. Here, you may post reserves, post character bios, ask questions, or discuss various things about a roleplay. Here is also a good place to let people know if you won't be responding for a few days. There are only a few rules, and they are extremely important.
- The site's rules apply here, like anywhere on CS.
- Be polite/kind to everyone here.
- Don't create unneeded OOC drama.
If you fail to follow these rules, I'm afraid I'd have to ban you from this roleplay, and I really don't want to do that anytime soon!

None☾ Wolf is a stoic and suave individual, making it easy to get along with him. He is intensely loyal to his pack of outcasts, and is determined to lead them in the right direction. He's intuitive, charismatic, and bares a high amount of intelligence. In a fight, not only does he have his slight bulk as an advantage, but his quick-thinking and strategic mindset. Though cool personality also comes with major downsides. Despite his high ranking status in the group, he is rather aloof, and prefers to interact with the others only when serious matters pop up. This is due to his low interaction with other dogs when he was owned by humans, but hopes are high that he'll eventually go from reserved to outgoing as he gets used to being around everyone. Not to mention that he's stubborn and can be pretty narrow-minded, and how assertive he occasionally gets when the pack gets too scattered.
☾ Wolf was bought from a well-known breeder in Alaska, his breeding being of two hardworking sled dogs. He, as a little pup, was shipped all the way to New York City to a middle-class couple who were unable to have children. He was named Nilak- meaning "chipped ice." He spent a good three years with this family, serving as a guard dog for their house, but eventually he was set free into the streets. For a few months, he was utterly alone, scavenging among trash and hunting down rats, and the occasional pigeon, to feed himself. Eventually he came across several other dogs who had met the same fate as him, and they decided to form a pack to find a better place for themselves.

About Fox:::Fox has always been a very loving dog. She loves children of course, but has trust issues with a lot of adult humans, mainly due to her past and how they have never understood her. When they get near her she is very flighty and stays away from most by passers. She’s quick on her feet and has a lot of common sense when it comes to what to do next. If you work with her on things she is one of the first ones to give you knew plans and ideas, just don’t expect her to follow through. If she does follow through though, do know she will take what is her share and what she thinks she deserves.
Unfortunately, Fox is very rude and untrusting when she first meets another dog. Once she gets to know a dog she is very nice, but she will keep her distance if need be. When it comes to animals, all of them are enemies until she gets to know them. Her past is her secret and she doesn’t allow just anybody to know about it. If you ask her about her past, she is more likely to lie than not. And don’t ask this girl for directions or a favor either. She will guide you in the wrong direction and mislead you. It’s all a game to her. She was raised with children, don’t you know?
Ultimately she just wants to have fun, be with friendly company, and enjoy her

Fox’s History:::Fox’s story started in a children’s orphanage home. She was bought from the town’s most reputable dog breeding company at a young age of 2 months old. Her buyers were two rich humans who donated her to the orphanage home so that the children had something to look forward to. Growing up with the children was great. She was given all the love she ever wanted. Although Fox had fun, it wasn’t always glamorous living. There were a lot of children in the home and all of them wanted a share of everything. The children took all the toys and the adults fed her very little amounts of kibble. She quickly learned how to sneak around, steal, lie, and cheat her way through every little thing. When she wanted a toy, she’d just steal one from the children’s toy chest and chew it to pieces. When she wanted food she would steal scraps from the children. She was scolded for it, but she didn’t care and would act as if she had done nothing wrong.
Eventually she took a liking to a little boy who wouldn’t eat his own food just to feed her. He gave her his toys and paid more attention to her than any other child in the orphanage. He seemed to really love her and she loved him back. Although she felt he was being kind and loving her, it hurt Fox to know that the little boy wasn’t eating his food and throwing away his precious toys just for her to ruin them. She knew she needed to take care of herself, find her own toys and not eat his food, but it was too tempting. The adults knew what the boy was doing though and were outraged to see that the boy was becoming thinner. They blamed Fox for everything that had happened with him. A few short months later, she was abruptly taken to the pound from where she escaped to the streets with hopes in finding a forever home.

╚xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx╝Name Badger
Age 4 Years Old
Gender Male
Rank Hunter
Breed Pitbull
Love Interest None yet
Good Traits Determined, tough, confident
Bad Traits Impatient, arrogant, apathetic
Height 19 inches at withers
Weight 80 lbs
Build Stocky
Pelt Color Black and white
Eye Color Yellow
Scars Nick in left ear, several scars
Before he was "Badger", he was known as Ryder, a name meaning knight. True to his name, he was the knight of his first home. He was bought by a young woman aiming to please her 13 year old son after a messy divorce and to guard the house she was out and had to leave the boy alone. The boy seemed apathetic at first to the friendly, at the time four month old pitbull, but eventually they became constant companions. He would play with the boy, and became his solace as the boy went through this tough time. He was the houses guardian and the boys best friend.
After three years of living with the family, the mother was being transferred to a new city for her job. It was a great opportunity for the family and Ryder was excited to move. That is, until the family found out about the law banning pit bulls in the city. Although the boy begged his mother to cancel the move, she simply would not be able to at this point. It was too late and they would have to give Ryder up. All because of his breed he wouldn't be allowed to stay with his family. They instead gave him up to a family friend, and abandoned him completely. Ryder would never see the boy again.
With this feeling of betrayal lingering, the dog would not open his heart to anyone else. He grew moody, apathetic, and arrogant. Unwilling to listen, and slightly volatile, his new owner was less than pleased by the dogs behavior. When he bit another dog was the last straw for the man. He too abandoned Ryder, leaving him to fend for himself on the streets. That was how it was for the next year, learning to fend for himself, to hunt and survive. But soon he found the dog pack where everyone was stripped of their names and past. It was then he adopted the alias of Badger and was determined to leave his past behind.
While Badger may be a full fledged pack member, that doesn’t stop this dog from acting like a loner. He puts a wall between himself and others through his general aloofness. He doesn’t speak unless spoken to or unless his opinion is asked for. This coupled with his arrogant nature make it quite obvious as to why he doesn’t have dogs flocking for his attention. He simply doesn’t play well with others. Badger is also quite impatient. He expects things to be done quickly and simply can’t stand waiting for long periods of time. This often means he’ll decide things impulsively and leap before looking so to speak.
His year along has served him well, however. He is confident in his abilities and is aware of his weaknesses. He is quite tough and one of the most determined dogs in the pack. When he wants something he works hard to get it. This coupled with his intelligence and strength shows why he was picked to be the hunter of the pack. This also shows why the dogs - while they may not exactly like him, respect him. Vice versa he respects other dogs as long as they don’t show any reasons for him not to. While he seems apathetic to the pack, he still retains a certain degree of loyalty that he once had. If anything he will fight to the death for them if need be. Maybe soon he'll find dogs who can put up with him and allow him to open up.

Abandoned because she was too
much to handle, this beautiful female
has been through quite a lot. Having
been known as Buttercup before her
new street name, Coyote, Coy was
a proud pet and protector to a
family who was in danger. She was
trained to keep people safe. Trained
to listen, trained to be cooperative and
fierce. But deep down inside her, was
too playful of a pup. A dog that wanted
a normal home. Not to be tossed around
to families that wanted her to guard their
backyard fences. To guard families that
were being protected by the law. She
didn't want to be apart of the human
law system. So when she proved to be
faulty... too friendly. She was sold to
a home... were she still wasn't good
enough. She always got out, adventured.
She never tore anything up. She listened,
but was too rowdy and proud. So she was
abandoned. That's when this pack found
her. Now she is a proud hunter by the
name of Coyote. Stripped of her past,
and determined to help this pack and
herself... find paradise.

Coyote has always been a little rough around the edges due to her training in the past. But thanks to her trainer, she wasn't formed into an aggressive, killing machine that most of those families hire to guard their lives. No, she still had a playful side to her... and that's what made her flawed in the humans eyes. But she has learned to tone it down a bit, she is no longer playful, but still has that adventurous nature to her. She loves a good dare and challenge and would jump at any opportunity, no matter the danger, to do a little exploring. She is pretty fearless and not much scares her, except human cars. They freak her out a little... she doesn't want to be trapped in another one. Same goes for human fences and kennels. She just can't handle the sight of those anymore. So anything involving those... you can count her out.
Though, her high sense of pride wouldn't allow her to admit she was afraid of anything. No, she will still call herself fearless until the day she is forced to face those secret fears. Speaking of pride, that is a very defining trait for her. She feels as though she can do just about anything... aside from facing her fears. Often feeling invincible and the bravest one in the pack... so don't let anyone tell her otherwise, or she can get a bit snappy. But she will always back down. Very cooperative, she follows orders very well when given to her from someone she respects. But if she doesn't agree with something, she will be very blunt and honest about it. Lies don't normally escape her lips... and she can often be pretty brutally honest.
Social wise, she gets along with most of the other canines, no problem. She enjoys making friends and when you are considered her friend, be ready for quite a different attitude. She loves messing around and joking with her friends. She can be very light-hearted and friendly, but don't forget... she can change on a dime. Also... get used to the sarcasm, because she has lodes of it. Sarcasm is also a very defining trait and she will often use it to make friends, flirt with males, or even to start a little tension or trouble.

Could you please reserve me for Moose? My form is going to take a little bit of time to get up, and I don't want to see the big guy gone!

Moose remembers going through not one, but two families. While he doesn't remember the first all that well, he knows that he grew up in a decently sized home with a family of four. The children doted on him when he was small, but as he grew bigger and heavier, the children would cry a lot more around him. He found himself in another home with an older man, who spent more time out of the house than with Moose. Every attempt to gain the man's favor was quickly shot down, and Moose resigned himself to sleeping the days away by the window. When two men came into the house when his owner wasn't home, he simply hid under the kitchen table and waited, assuming they were friends of the owner and they would leave. When his owner came back furious and ranting about the missing things that the men had apparently taken, Moose was confused. He was even more so when the man dumped him out of his truck and sped off, to the point where even Moose's long legs couldn't keep up. He originally struggled on the streets, his size scaring off most people and prey, but when he met a small pack of dogs, they invited him in and offered to teach him how to use his huge mass to his advantage. He now lives quite happily with the pack and is a fine member of it.

Moose is gentle and patient with almost every dog in the pack, ensuring that there is a strong bond between each member. He essentially works as the glue between the pack members. He has become fiercely protective over time as well, correcting his mistakes from before. He doesn't wish to see anyone injured in the pack and will gladly risk his own life to ensure their safety. Unfortunately, he isn't terribly bright in the most general sense, as it's easy to trick him and convince him with lies. Due to his reserved nature as well, the slightest interaction can cause him to become overly attached, and he will often do the bidding of the one who has him at their side. He doesn't do well under pressure, and he's less of a planner and more of a doer. The faster and stronger something can get done, the better, even if it's risky. Overall, Moose seeks to keep the pack as safe as possible, and he's still looking for a way to communicate.

尺丹乃乃工匕
born to run.

❝ age ? - two years
❝ gender?-male
❝ rank? - scout
❝ breed? - borzoi
❝ crush? - --
❝ mate? ---
❝ i'm a pretty decent dog - Rabbit has a flippant attitude about nearly everything; finding it easy to strike up a conversation with a total stranger. Some might say he's very bold, never awkward or embarrassed, it's almost as though he has no concept of shame; that, or he simply doesn't care what others think of him. He's quick to make a joke and has no problem taking criticism; laughing off threats as though they couldn't possibly be true. He mostly keeps out of fights and arguments, seeing as he's never really had to deal with any before; but he's no stranger to danger and being reckless is pretty much his forte. He looks up to bravery, and likes to consider himself brave, though honestly he's just quite rash. He has a bad habit of saying whatever pops into his head, making his speech sometimes sound as impulsive and poorly thought through as his actions.
Even in stressful situations there's an almost childish energy within the young dog, that stops him from taking anything too serious. Though, the ever-grinning confidence can falter when he's alone. He doesn't like solitude, which is why he sticks to other dogs like a mildly annoying glue; though he doesn't like speaking openly about his fears. Any doubts he has are pushed aside by his large ego. If he feels he's being overshadowed, he'll be sure to show of his talents; constantly being competitive and a general show-off. His quick wit can rile up the short-tempered, but it's all in good fun. Or at least, that's how he sees it. Flirting is something he does constantly and unconsciously, he'll carry himself with confidence and a spring in his step when around the ladies; occasionally making a complete idiot of himself. Of course being young, their presence only encourages him to be more reckless. He likes to be praised, and wants to be considered useful, so he does throw a lot of energy into everything he does.❝ you just can't get enough of me, right - Bred for competing in international shows, Kazimir proved to be quite a poor excuse of a borzoi; his structure too arched to ever stand a real chance of winning a rosary. So soon after he was weaned, he was given to the breeder's niece as a cute little companion for her apartment. It would be fair to say it wounded his pride to know he hadn't been good enough to be a show dog, so he spent his younger months overcompensating for his insecurities. Even as he grew quite large, it didn't seem to be much of a problem for his owner. He was happy enough, a well-behaved dog; at least, until she went to work. Every day he'd whine for hours when she left, kicking up a storm, chewing furniture; it was understandable when he was small. But once he was a big, lanky hound he didn't earn much sympathy. His owner was reported for having a pet in her apartment, and with her patience already wearing thin she simply took him out one day and tied him to a fence out in the street. He was left there for days before a couple of strays stumbled across him, freeing him from the leash and inspiring him to be more like them. With that, he shed his old life and name, becoming Rabbit the scout.
