I remember swimming events where I only dropped like 0.25 of a second. It drove me crazy. I'm actually nervous to join swim again because my times aren't stellar but at the same time I really want to do it. Hopefully I'll figure out what's best for me to do before I have to make my choice X'D

but nope

there was one time i was in heat four, lane two of an event.
and in heat one, lane two of the same event,
there was a person missing who had the exact same name.
on the board, it still said heat four from the last event.
i was like "what the dang hell is happening?!
how is it my heat already?!" and i swam in heat one
and got a horrible time. after i got up, my friend told me
"what are you doing without a cap on, it's heat three right now!"
i managed to get a cap on and i improved c:

Hahaha, nice XD 50 free is one of my favorite events! I've really only swam in 50 free, 100 free, and 100 im competitively.
Have you been to states/championships?

No, but I think I might be able to get to state with my breaststroke as it is my best. I think the thing with swimming is that you gotta have confidence in yourself that you are going to achieve whatever your goal is. And plus, I've "compared" myself with some of the people I swim with and even though I only started this spring and they started like years ago, I'm many times faster than them.

How often do you guys train? I do my best to practice six times a week but life likes to be ugly and get in the way of what I like to do, as it does for everyone XD

Well at my swim club we are split into different swim groups to ensure the level of difficulty; I practice 5 days a week (sometimes 4 if I have something going on) during the season

What got you into it: family! Well, my grandfather was part of the navy so......
Advice you'd give to people interested in the same sport(s): listen, I guess, swimming isn't easy. Probably because you can't breathe underwater. But what sport can help you survive an alligator attack? Swimming or badminton? Badminto- I MEAN SWIMMING!

Favorite parts: freestyle swimming!
Least favorite parts: breast and butterfly swimming.
