Welcome to Northern Valley Equestrian Academy. Over the last year we have scouted for the greatest riders from their home stables, as well as from recent competitions, events and trials. These riders all come from English riding background and, you included, have been handpicked to join an elite summer riding program for high school juniors, seniors and incoming college freshman. Our riders have been seen exhibiting extreme profession and excellence, and we wish to accompany and guide them on their strive for perfection. All participants in this program are awarded board, housing, complete care for riders and horses, and a summers worth of elite training with all finances picked up by the academy. By the end of the summer course if you have shown the instructors a impressive growth in skill we will be asking a limited amount of students to stay for the year and offered a scholarship to the nearby institution for grades 9, all the way until they graduate with their college GED. The program begins next Monday, and students are expected to arrive by Sunday morning by 10 am. We look forward to seeing you there!

Here at Northern Valley Equestrian Academy we believe following rules is part of the success of a equestrian. Our rules are strict and should be followed at all times, in the dorms and also in the stable. If you do not follow these rules we have the right to expel you from the program, and send you home immediately as a result.

♦ All horses are to be returned to their stalls by 8:15 pm each night, and all riders should vacate premises by 8:30 .
♦ Students are to be in dorms by 9pm each night , lights out by 11:30.
♦ No males in the female dorms/No females in the male dorms.
♦ Students tack is their responsibility, and they are to keep in, put away and clean when finished.
♦ Students are to feed their horses by 7:30am, and breakfast is served at 7:45 .
♦ Students horse(s) are their own responsibility, if a horse is not being cared for properly or left un-cared for penalties will be given.
♦ All aggressive or offensive behavior (fighting, cursing, ect.) will not be tolerated.
♦ Absolutely no PDA on stable grounds, students are here to expand their riding skills NOT their social life.
♦ When riding, students are to be wearing a helmet and in wearing riding attire at all times.

♦Please do not use vulgar language, it is not allowed on this topic and is stated in Tess's rules that it is not allowed. Words that are allowed are: Damn, Hell & substitution words.
♦Respect your fellow role players. I understand 'in role play' drama, but please, do not get in a OOC argument about anything. And if you really need to tiff it out with someone, take it too pm. I can guarantee none of us want to hear it, or may I re-phrase that, none of us want to read it.
♦Obviously love scenes are fade to black, we all know the limit here of what is allowed and what is not.
♦Please make your posts easy to read. It makes it a lot easier when you have a well-organized Post.
♦If another Role player is role playing with you please do not just drop it off just because you have decided another role player is more important.
♦NO perfect characters, mary-sures, or power-players. Yes, these riders are expected to be good, but that does not mean their perfect.
♦Please have good forms with lots of information, I'm not asking you to write a novel, but try to be descriptive. Also please attempt to make them pretty c:
♦This is Semi-Literate. Which means 6 and up sentences with proper grammar, and spelling. No text talk. One paragraph is required, but if you would like to do more it is up to you, but would be much appreciated.
♦Please also make a horse for your character, on a separate form.
♦This is NOT a horse roleplay. Please do not roleplay your horses perspective, as this is based on the riders.

"Look, I don't care if you want out, if you break the lock one more damn time I'm going to run you in the bullpen for a hour!" Cursed a short blond as she closed a stall door after walking a seal bay in. During the two weeks since she had arrived at the academy her horse, Leggo, had escaped his stall9 times. She had requested for a top lock to be added to his stall, since at this point it seemed like a safety hazard more than a coincidence. 'I probably should've written that on my introduction forms, the fact i have a donkey of a horse who had a knack for escaping stalls.' Katherine thought to herself bitterly. The first time it happened everyone had been asking questions, the second she got scolded by the instructors, and now the staff all thought she just didn't close the stall correctly. Joke was on them though, since the last person to put Leggo in his stall was the head instructor, Mr. Williams. Lost in thought she hadnt noticed the gelding had stuck his head over and was attempting to nibble on the molasses cookies she had planned to give to him as a treat. That was, until she found him wandering down the road to the dorms on a joy-ride. Heaving a sigh she shook herhead and emptied her pocket into her hand and held them out to the horse, wiping the slobber off after he had quickly sucked her hand clear of any cookie left. "Only because I love you.." Katherine said to Leggo as she rustled his mane.

The brown haired charming male stood in his horses stall as he brushed and brushed the stallion's coat. Ace of Spades was more prissy than the mares of the barn, he demanded to be clean twenty-four/seven. Scott was unsure why he was cursed with the stallion who cared about his appearance, but he didn't really mind too much. He enjoyed spending time with the horse instead of with actual people. This way he would be able to talk to someone who wouldn't talk back or judge him, out loud at least. He was positive that Ace judged him pretty hard, but hey, Scott judged the stallion as well for some of his actions, so they were pretty much even. These two were like quarreling children sometimes, but nonetheless they loved each other dearly.

It had been two weeks since Scott had arrived with his best friend, his horse, to this fine academy, and so far he couldn't complain. The staff was kind, as were the students. He had made a pretty good friend already, her name being Katherine. However, he wasn't too sure about her horse. He found the stallion to be a little...stubborn, which was putting it nicely. But he couldn't help but laugh when he saw the horse break out of his stall. He would probably die if Ace did that, but Katherine seemed to take it quite well. He was glad she knew how to handle it, but the headmaster didn't take lightly to it. Scott let out a small chuckle as he continued brushing Ace, moving to his mane now.

Natasha had been at the barn before the sun had even risen. She was an early bird out of forced habit, it was not a natural gift to her. She loathed humidity and hated having to compete for riding space in the arenas, no matter how large those arenas were, so she chose to exercise her horses before breakfast was even served. Today, however, she had run about thirty minutes late so she was only going to get around to riding her baby--well, she called him a baby at least--stallion, Kodak. It didn't bother him to be ridden multiple times a day, so if she were to have a lesson later he would be as though he hadn't been ridden in a week. The stallion had endless energy. He's like an energizer bunny, she thought with a simple roll of her eyes. Natasha, having already groomed and tacked the dark bay, was just beginning to mount in one of the indoor jumping arenas. She was the first one in there, so she had set some of the warm-up jumps at a lower height and then raised the others to the height that she was working on showing Kodak in. To most riders, the heights she jumped were intimidating and something not to be done lightly. To her, and some of the other riders there with her, it was all in a day's work. As long as she didn't think about it too long or hard, it never got under her skin. Collecting her plaited reins in her leather glove-clad hands, Natasha pushed Kodak onto the rail to begin their warm-up before she would even consider taking him over some fences.

Oh mein Mann, wenn diese verflixten Sattel padds wieder fallen, ist es zu bald! the teen spat. Hunter was trying to balance four saddles under her arms, the saddle pads scattered on the floor. It was the third time they had fallen since the blonde had taken the saddles and rest of her tack for a well deserved cleaning. Strands of chocolaty brown and blonde hair fell across her vision. Having escaped from the bun the rest was pulled back in. Sliding the saddle's on their racks, she went to pick up the saddle pads, only to trip over her tack trunk and send it's contents spilling over the floor. As well as Hunter falling flat on her face.

Eric was in Kingsman stall, on the ground, leaning against the wall with a snore. He had spent all night trying to think through all the kinks he and Kingsman had. Writing, drawing, tossing pillows across his dorm. There was a brush in his hand, signifying that he had went into the stall for a purpose, though a had different outcome. The liver chestnut stallion lowered his head to sniff at his owner before giving a loud snort, sending all kinds of nose goodies onto Eric's camouflage shirt. The dirty blonde haired teen woke with a start, dark green eyes wide. "Gah! Sorry boy, I didn't mean to crash on you like that." exclaimed, rushing to his feet. The gelding only sighed and lowered his head. "Yeah, yeah." he muttered. He took long strokes across Kingsman back, making sure to run a hand after the area he had brushed.
