You were on a cruise ship, traveling abroad for your sumer vacation. Maybe you loved the ship, or maybe you hated it. But one night, you were sleeping soundly. The yells didn't wake you. The screams didn't wake you. The footsteps didn't wake you. But perhaps you were lucky. Of the ships hundred occupants, eighty of them escaped in life boats. None of them ever made it within a miles radius of the wreck. However, you twenty people survived, through some miracle. Now you don't know where you are, or what this island is. But you must keep this in mind as you try to survive:

The characters in this should range from eighteen to twenty three.
I would prefer that you post three good sentences, as in: I looked around with a mix of curiosity and dread. Then something occured to me that made my heart speed up. I hadn't been alone on that cruise, so where was everyone else? And not: I opened my eyes. I sat up. My head hurt.
As to romance, you can have a crush on someone if you want, as well as a relationship. However, for the sake of the roleplay, don't have a relationship aside from crushes before the roleplay starts. You also cannot be your own crush.
We will be starting the roleplay as they all wake up.
Because of the limited spots, please only two characters per person, although you can have two of one gender.
The characters do not know this, but there is some magic on this island, and it is starting to rub off on them. As of yet, though, they don't have any powers.

This is the island from above. This is the beach where they wake up, and here is what they can see of the forest. The waterfall is deeper in the jungle, and is fed by the freshwater spring, which provides clean drinking water. The fruit grove is hidden deep in the jungle, but will provide plenty of fruit when it's found. The river runs across the island after starting at the falls. It is an excellent source of fish, as well as animals who come to drink there.

○Favorite outfit: I usually wear sweatpants, a tee shirt, and soft low heel boots in the winter and fall, and shorts, a tee shirt, and sneakers or flip flops in spring and summer.

✰Personality: I tend to change depending on who I'm around. If I'm around grownups, I'm always really quiet. Around people I don't like, I'm sassy and frowny. Around my friends, I make lots of jokes and laugh a lot. I have no problem with poking a boy if they get on my nerves, or even hitting them. I've never hit anyone hard, though, except my brother. And even then, it wasn't thst hard. I love reading and I have good grades in school.
✰History: Well, my family wasn't rich, but we weren't poor, either. I didn't see my dad a lot when I was little because he had construction jobs. For most of my life, I tried several different styles of dance, but I didn't enjoy any of them. In second grade, I started taekwondo, and now I'm a black belt. One year, we went to visit my grandparents for Christmas and we went to an aquarium. And there was this sea turtle there. He'd been hit by a boat, so the flippers on one side were cut short. I just adored him! That was when I decided I wanted to be a marine biologist. Then, when I was twelve, I read a book about how in fifty or a hundred years, there might not be any fish left in the ocean. So I started putting together fundraisers to raise money to organizations protecting coral reefs. I've been doing that kind of thing for six years, with now intentions of stopping. (Oh, and if you dis sea turtles, coral reefs, or anything ocean related, I will not hesitate to yell at you.)
✰Talents: Reading, definitely. Once I read Divergent twice in 36 hours. Taekwondo, piano, violin, basketball, running... oh, and spelling! I won the county spelling bee in sixth grade. Skiing, swimming.
✰Non talents: Dancing, racquet sports, soccer, socializing, listening to people, caring about fashion.
