She nodded her agreement to what the tom said. ''Sure, the more the merrier. We need to get the prey to the cats in the twoleg den as quickly as possible.'' Shadowheart started padding away from the twoleg den. ''Maybe we should check the meadow for mice or see if we can catch some birds?'' The calico she-cat pricked her tufted ears forward and walked quietly. Hopefully we'll find some mice on our way there. Her mismatched eyes scanned the brush to see if there was any visible prey.

He smiled as the she-cat, Shadowheart, agreed to what he had said. Spiderpelt followed after her and scented the air for the slightest scent of prey. The black and orange tom looked over as shadowheart spoke and agreed. "Yes, the meadow sounds nice. Lead the way."

The calico she-cat flicked her tail as a sign of acknowledgment and headed towards the meadow. She came upon the meadow and parted her jaws to scent the air for prey. Shadowheart caught the scent of a mouse and crouched. Her ears pricked forward as she heard it moving among the grass. She stalked forward slowly and leapt at the mouse. It dodged her paws and made a run for a nearby mouse den. She managed to scoop it back up with her paws and killed it quickly. The calico she-cat set the prey on the ground and covered it with grass and dirt. Her tail swept back and forth as she sat down and gave Spiderpelt a chance to catch prey. ''How much do you think we'll need,'' she kept her voice low so that she wouldn't scare away any of the prey.

→ Spiderpelt found a fresh scent of mouse and pricked his ears. "We'll need enough to feed the sick cats." the black and orange tom flicked his tail and dropped down into a hunters crouch. He felt the grass from the meadow tickle his paws and smiled. Spiderpelt looked for the mouse with narrowed eyes. He soon came across it. It was quite small and nibbling on a tiny seed. He pounced, and sadly missed it. "Mouse dung!" he hissed
