Nightpaw nodded, looking back to Batpaw. "Yea, whatever is making me upset, I'll get over it." she mewed. "So, where are you going?" she asked, wanting to chabge the subject.

batpaw narrowed his eyes slightly. so you won't tell me.. "to the steam to fish. care to join me?" he mewed, offering her a small smile.

Nightpaw nodded and smiled. "Sure. I was going to get moss..." she shrugged. "But oh well." she mewed.

[yeeee.]

"i'll help you with that on the way back," batpaw mewed in that same soft tone, gently brushing her cheek with his tail tip before turning and padding towards the lake. i'll tell her when we get there... maybe it'll make her feel better.

Nightpaw chuckled a bit. She padded after Batpaw, setting her pace the same as he had.

batpaw smiled at the sound of her light chuckle. upon arriving he immediately crouched, and leaned forward taking a long drink of water. then, he sat back on his haunches and licked his maw clean. "hey nightpaw, before we begin, can i tell you something ?"

Nightpaw sat next to Batpaw. She looked in the clear and beautiful water. Then she turned to look t Batpaw. "Sure, what is it?"

Alderpine loped into the forest in search of the grey cat. Who was he? Alderpine's head spun. He could be anyone. A kittypet, an apprentice that ran from his mentor because his mentor made him angry, or even... Alderpine rammed into a tree. "Agh!" he hissed. "Stupid tree." he clawed at it gently. He kept a walking pace and tried to familiarize the young cat's scent. He was a dark grey cat, and he had very dark blue eyes. Who was this? Why was he behind the medicine cat's den? Alderpine thought about any cats he hadn't seen many times, but knew well enough to know his name.

the tom circled eveningpaw's nest, his unsheathed claws causing his walk to be slowed. "oh, but you should know who i am. i'm eveningpaw's father, and i don't think any of you should be in here with this curseblood. unlike her mother, i was always loyal to cypressclan, and now i'm doing you a favor. getting rid of the half-blooded apprentice." he said, his voice was like one of a snake.
