Duchess thought Wind hated her so she decided not to help.
She decided to walk on her own.
She walked up to a large building, but it was not the building she was familiar with.
A little girl who was ten years old came running out.
" Mom, dad!" She yelled loudly.
Her parent came running out of a barn.
" Allie, whats the matter?"
The girls mother looked at duchess.
" Allie, go get a harness and a lead.
The girls father slowly walked up to Duchess and gently stroked her neck.
" She is gentle, she won't hurt you."
The father said to the mother.
The little girl came out of the barn with a harness and a lead.
The mother put the harness on Duchess and then hooked the lead on.
The little girl led Duchess into the barn and put her in a large stall.
The little girl gave Duchess oats and feed and gave her a good brush down.
The little girl left.

Asher cringed as he nudged him frantically, he looked up to the human and nickered softly
"hang in there wind..." he nickered
"what is it boy? O my gosh!" the human exclaimed as she saw wind, she jogged over to
him and checked his pulse...
Asher soon got an idea "Duchess remember when I brought you back from the humans?"
he asked trying to remind her about him carrying her on his back...

Duchess lied down and got some sleep.
She dreamed about what would happen to the herd if she stayed away forever and she did not choose between Asher and wind.
But Duchess knew the answer would soon be reviled.

[ajax.]

(yeah I know I saw it after I posted)

Asher screamed again and heaved the limp stallion wind to his back... he staggered slightly
but brought him to where Duchess went, following her scent he stopped in front of a barn
he whinnied loudly as he collapsed in exhaustion and set down wind. he nickered loudly from the ground...

Duchess recognized Asher's voice.
She did not want to be found so she found a little ledge in her stall with hay in it.
She took all the hay out and went into the ledge and closed and locked the door.
Duchess hoped none could find her.

[pigeons.]

Wind-

"w--e--r--e's duchess" he says trying to speak

Wind-

he struggled to breath and dropped to the floor. his eyes fell into shock. he struggled to get up but got up anyways. he walked over to were the stables. "oh my!" said the little girl leading him to the stall next to duchess. she put cast and stuff on wind to help the wounds.

Duchess opened the ledge door and kicked her stable door until it bust open.
She ran out then the girls dad came running out of the house.
" Whoa!" The dad said in a surprised voice."
Duchess stood on her rare legs and reared.
She ran back to the pond and fell into the pond and fell asleep.

[pigeons.]

Wind-

its been about 2 weeks

wind felt better and decided to go back to the camp.
when he got back to camp he started to graze on the fresh grass.

Duchess decided to stay with the herd, but she wanted to say one last goodbye to Allie.
She went over to the barn and paced around until Allie came out of the barn.
" Hey girl!" The girl said in excitement.
Duchess nuzzled the girl one last time then walked away.
Duchess looked at her one last time.
The little girl cried and smiled.
" Bye, i will miss you." The little girl said in sorrow.
Duchess trotted off back to the herd.
She started grazing with Wind.
