cherrytail tensed her muscles ever so slightly, her namesake tail swishing behind her as she sized up the other white molly in front of her. good thing i sharpened my claws this morning. sheathing her claws subtly, her turquoise and golden eyes narrowed as she awaited for the order to strike. hope those... two... reported what was going on at camp.

batpaw smiled, unable to nod with so much moss crammed beneath his chin. turning, the ebony tom began to make his way back. upon arriving, he smelled nightpaw. without thunderpaw. covered in the smell of rogues. "nightpaw, are you alright? what happened?" batpaw asked immediately, his slate eyes widening slightly as he made his way over to the molly.

Solsticetalon glanced at Cherrytail. "Ready to fight?" He said quietly to her.

"We just bumbed into some rogues... But Solsticetalon and some other warriors will tak care of that!" Nightpaw mewed cheerfully. "I was just looking for you. Are you alright?" she continued, sounding a bit worried.

batpaw flattened his ears a little. rogues? creekpaw's rogues? "yes," the ebony tom mewed, taking another step forward. how could she ask how am i after running into rogues? alone? that's much to selfless of her. "i'm glad your alright," the ebony tom mewed softly, noting understanding why he felt his whiskers twitch subconsciously. "sorry about earlier... just remnants of my past bothering me," batpaw said, turning his head away a bit, shifting the moss between his chin. "mind helping me out with this?" he mewed, lifting his tail a bit, his heart rate increasing slightly. i usually don't ask for help, but...

"yes." then, without so much as turning her head, cherrytail quietly added. "forget what i said earlier. it's not worth remembering." but i hope you'll remember what i said about memories and pride. you never know what fight may be your last. flattening her ears slowly, the molly crouched. she was ready.

Nightpaw nodded with a smile, even though he couldn't see her. "Yea, of course I can help!" she mewed and stepped forward. "And don't worry about your past, its gone now!" she purred trying to make him feel better.

batpaw felt his maw twitch as that smile fight to grow larger. "i hope so," the ebony tom said, before playful popping her with his tail and padding towards the den. once he laid some down, he selected the driest most and began to shake it out. "just in case you two get in trouble, i'll take care of the elders den and any other den i can get around to. that should make things easier... but it shouldn't come to that. i''ll try and cover for you," the ebony tom said, turning his slate eyes in the direction of the entrance, making sure no one was listening. then, he turned back to nightpaw. "it's the least i could," he added quietly, before setting to work pulling out any thorns or debris. "did thunderpaw suffer from any injuries that need to be covered?" hm... horsetail and cobwebs... i think that's the remedy you use. i'll ask firefly if i can find him. if not, i'll go with the cobwebs. even warriors know those work.

Solsticetalon nodded and turned his gaze back to Creekpaw. "So what will it be, lose some fur and possibly die. Or leave unharmed?"
