She saw the other horses coming, "I don't know...but Duchess kicked Asher in the jaw, so I've been caring for him."

Duchess rolled her eyes at Icicle.
Duchess tried getting up and she limped a few miles away and went to a pond.
She started drinking and then before she knew it, THUD!
She hit the ground.
Duchess collapsed in the water.
A day passed and nobody found her and she was glad.

Duchess tried getting up but she couldn't.
She then saw a trailer but it was different from a normal trailer.
A human came and helped her up.
The human led her to he trailer.
" Ought a girl, we'll help you." The human said as she stroked Duchess.
The human closed the trailer door.
Duchess lied down and slept.
A few hours later, The pulled up at a strange building.
The human came out again and opened the trailer door and led her inside.
Another human led her to a strange room and started pressing down on Duchess' injured leg.
Duchess pulled her leg away.
The human quickly grabbed her leg and examined it.
The human wrapped white gauze around her leg.
"There you go girl." The human said gently as she stroked her leg.
The human led her out to a paddock.
" When your better, we will send you back." The human said gently in her ear.
The human left.
Duchess rested until the next morning.
It was the next morning and Duchess woke up to see a fresh pile of hay.
Duchess walked over and started eating the fresh hay.

he saw the humans take duchess. he raced after the car intil it came to a stop. he saw the building he followed duchess intil he felt a rope go over his head.
"what a big boy you are." says a human stroking winds back. wind watch duchess be token away , so he tug the rope. insted the human took him to the cage. she handed him a caret but wind refused. he layed down and started eating some oats that was in a bag in front of him.

It was a few months later and The human came into her stall and led Duchess to a trailer.
" It is your time girl." The human said as she started crying.
Duchess and the human grew a strong bond together and Duchess did not want to leave.
The human closed the trailer door and went into the truck.
They finally reached the pond duchess was found in an the human came over and opened the trailer door and led duchess out.
The human took the halter off Duchess and the human started crying.
"I will miss you girl." The human said sadly as she hugged Duchess.
Duchess said in her mind, I will miss you to.
And Duchess felt that the human could sense just what Duchess felt like.
The human let go of Duchess and started crying.
"I will always remember you." The human said in a soft voice as tears rolled down her face.
The human got into the truck and started the engine.
Duchess nickered in sadness as the human drove away as if she did not want Duchess anymore.
Duchess cried and lied down under a large oak.
I will always remember you Duchess said in her mind.
