Thunderpaw gave Ashpaw one last glance before pelting after Nightpaw when the coast was clear. "Do you think they'll notice?" He mewed, panting out of breath.

"I think they will, but they'll deal with the rogues before coming after us." Nightpaw mewed and slowed her pace to walking. "But we need to be pretty fast so that we get to talk with Bearstar." she added.

"Yeah you're right....thanks Nightpaw..thanks for sticking with me." Thunderpaw replied with thankful eyes, he was glad that he had someone to go through the trouble with. But he was also guilty that he dragged her into it.

"Well, it was my idea too to come here." Nightpaw mewed and smiled. Then she smirked. "Do you wanna race back to camp?" she mewed with a challenging tone.

Thunderpaw smiled and gave her a thankful glance before putting on a 'game' face. "Race me, the mighty Thunderpaw back to camp? You can't beat me Nightpaw I'm as fast as thunder!" He boasted.

"Even though your name is Thunderpaw it doesn't mean that you have anything to do with thunder!" Nightpaw teased. Then she started counting. "Three... two... one... Go!" she mewed and launched off.

Thunderpaw rolled his eyes. "Of course it doe-" He was about to finish but realized Nightpaw had already pelted off ahead. "Hey no fair!" He called and bolted after her.
