Burrows-In-Sand stated in unconstrained shock and amazement. Like most others, she had never seen a werewolf in her life. And yet here was one, in all it's animalistic glory, right in front of her. And to top it off, it thought of her as a friend! Now she had something to boast about at parties!
She grabbed the bow off her back. It was polished, she noticed, and it was of the Daedric kind, meaning it was very powerful. The arrows, being Elven, were less so, but it would do just fine, she knew.
Testing out her strength, she flexed the string before finally hooking an arrow into the nock of the bow. Crouching down behind some underbrush, she took aim at the elk as it ran past. "I'll shoot it, and you can finish it off, Jellal. Right?" she said uncertainly, not sure if Jellal could understand her in this form.

Jellal padded behind her, his blue eyes still shinning with understanding but his face showing a snarl. He nodded in response, crouching down slightly, waiting to bolt towards the creature. Jellal know Hicine was most likely watching. One thing he and that Deadra both liked.

Burrows-In-Sand crouched down on her knees, leaning one way out of the thornbush she was in so she could still see her prey. Gazing the elk in the eye on order to let it know it was going to die an honorable death, one be fit to make a good meal a true warrior would enjoy. And then she shot the creature straight in the eyeball.
It shrieked, trying to fight against it, but in the proceed only ripped the arrow out, leaving a trail of blood to drip slowly down it's face. "Now!" she called, while her prey was still struggling.

Within moments, even before Burrows had yelled out, Jellal had jumped forward, claws outstretched, and fangs showing as he clawed at the creature. It shrieked before he silenced it by butting into it's neck, tasting blood.

Burrows-In-Sand watched in simultaneous awe and horror. It was magnificent how much power a werewolf's body could contain, but also terrifying. Jellal could shreds her in heartbeats if he wanted to -- but she wouldn't think about that. Jellal was no monster.
She walked over to the elk's corpse and snatched the arrow out of it's broken body, causing more blood to squirt out of it's eyeball. It was disgusting but also fascinating.
"Let's wrap this up and take it back, before any scavengers can get it " she suggested.

Jellal grunted, gripping the neck and dragging it effortlessly. He dragged it to a small cave that was near his house. He padded inside, there was no roof so sunlight came in to dry the meat he'd caught. He placed it in the middle and sat down, looking into the sky.

Burrows-In-Sand simply observed for a moment, then began following behind Jellal, licking the carcass up on one side and helping him to drag ir, despite the fact that he could probably carry it by himself with ease.
When they arrived in the cave, she set the dead elk into the ground, panting from the effort. It made her few l weak, being around a creature as strong as a werewolf. Clasping her hands onto her knees, she asked, "So are we done for today, or would you rather hunt more?" She figured he would probably continue hunting, but she asked anyway.

Jellal turned to her, the fur slowly disappearing. His bones cracked back into place before he stood as a man again. "I'm okay." He answered, looking into the sky. "I need to feed the wolves and check on the pregnant one, we're expecting pups." He answered with a happy smile.

Burrows-In-Sand smiled at the mention of wolf pups. She found all baby creatures to be adorable, but especially canid animals. "Can I see them?" She asked. "Will they be friendly?"
They probably would be, considering they were just pups and probably didn't understand the concept of enemies yet, but their parents might be protective. She knew that in the wild, most babies didn't survive for very long.

Jellal gave a smile. "Hope so!" He chirped, pausing. "They will around me at least." He added, walking home and leaving the door open for her before going down into the cave, into a hidden crevasse and opening a gate to a Wolf with three pups.
