@Markimoo: He gets pretty unlucky with the animatronics, aha. To be fair, very few people have probably worked out the way they move around so I'll cut Mark some slack for now. Side note: never watch while holding a drink. Yesterday I was watching Jack actually, but nevertheless I wasn't expecting the Bonnie jumpscare and I spilled my drink all over the place. My mom was in tears laughing.

@Megaguirus: His reactions to pretty much everything are priceless tbh.

This isn't really a place to discuss FnaF in detail, but since I'm not actually big enough of a fan to be a part of a fanclub for FnaF (if there is one), I'd decided to ask: Have you guys seen the Night 7 (I believe) animatronic yet? He's honestly terrifying, and tbh I kinda have a theory for him that I've not really seen anyone else discuss. I don't know if it fits in with the rest of the story, or what people think is the story, but doesn't Nightmare kinda look like he's been burned or like he's charred? Wasn't there a diner a part of the franchise that burned down tho...? I would think that'd fit in with the line in the trailer,"What have you brought home?" I don't remember the story, and who burned it down (If it burnt down lol), but maybe the person's kid or something who burnt it down is who you're playing as? It's just some random thing I thought of, I'm surprised I haven't seen anyone else talk about it though. pls don't kill me hardcore fans ;-;

omg today i spilled my drink too. i was watching something mark and i either tipped my can upside down or literally just lost function of my hand but i dropped the soda (on my bed) INCHES from pouring on my iPad. luckily for me (not really), when it started to pour i returned my grip and then dropped it again over the side of my bed. so woo. hp fan is good at life.

also, since i'm the owner of this i'm allowing a bit of talk about fnaf AS LONG AS YOU MAKE SPOILERS CLEARLY MARKED

has anyone watched other youtubers play fnaf 4 (specifically pewdiepie) and get really annoyed when they win without playing the game correctly? like he won the first night without walking over to the door -_-

but all this isn't really mark related so
Code: Select all
do you think mark should have his fnaf king crown taken away because of how he's doing so far?

and

Code: Select all
does anyone else love when he gets dead silent, because he's concetrating extra hard?

I don't necessarily get annoyed, I just get confused. Mark died four times on night one (albeit he didn't really know the strategy very well because he accidentally skipped tips, but he still frequently checked the doors), how did Pewds get out without a scratch without checking the door(s)? It blows my mind.

do you think mark should have his fnaf king crown taken away because of how he's doing so far?: Not at all. I don't blame him for not being the greatest the first few nights, as he - like anyone else - just picked up the game and it's hard to get used to how active the animatronics are. Almost no other first night on the rest of the games could you really... Die, I guess. The first nights are usually to get used to the strategy, the controls, and the feel of the game and it can mess you up a little bit when they're so active on night one. He's only been not too good the first few nights though, of course he's died a lot but his strategy is still valid.

does anyone else love when he gets dead silent, because he's concetrating extra hard?: Definitely. Not just during FnaF, but in any games I love seen his concentrated face. And then he gets past the night and it's just screams for days.

No, I don't think it should be taken away. FNAF 4 is extremely different from the other three games in many ways, a major one being you can actually move your character around (like Among the Sleep). Not to mention the animatronics are now literal nightmares... and I thought Spring Trap in FNAF 3 was the creepiest! Ha, not anymore.

one more question. i forgot it earlier and it just came back woo.

Code: Select all
does anyone else feel it's kind of weird to read fanfiction about a real person?

for me, i'm perfectly fine with a fanfiction with characters. say, with mark, tiny box tim and marlalindin (why did my autocorrect make that a word? wow alright) those are the first two i thought of, it doesn't have to be them specifically, but i digress.
i'd be fine with reading a fanfiction about them going on an adventure or whatever. but i can't read a fanfiction about a real person. for me, i just think about how while i'm reading this fanfiction about this real person they are actually somewhere on the earth living, breathing, sleeping, eating, hanging with friends, whatever. and in the writing, we take them and have them do things they may or may not do. i think that's what bugs me the most. with a character, we have quotes or stories and they don't have a random weird thing they do. like, mme for example, i collect erasers and soaps. tiny box tim doesn't have a collection, and we know this for sure. with a real person, they have so many things we don't know about and what someone writes conflicts with that.
i dunno, i'm weird and its 12 am sorry i'll go now.

does anyone else feel it's kind of weird to read fanfiction about a real person?: To me, only mature rated fanfiction is weird to read. I write fanfiction myself (nothing 18+) so I've gotten used to it, but fanfiction is kind of an odd thing. I got into fanfiction, or writing in general, because I disliked roleplays because I wanted to make the entire story. Fanfiction is just a 1 person roleplay, and the thing that bugs me the most when people write about real people - whilst playing as that person, like in a Markiplier fanfiction - is that you have to make sure you know enough about the person to write in their POV. It's just odd when you make up an entirely new personality than what shows up on the videos, although I've done it once but I had a backstory involved so I think it's justified. But when you read about someone roleplaying Mark and he has a very distant and extremely rude personality, it's just weird and it feels wrong, so it really depends on the genre of fanfiction, the maturity rating, and the writing/character development itself. In short, I've adapted to reading a lot of fanfiction so it's not really odd to me. 18+ stuff isn't that odd to me, it's just when you're actually imagining it in your head is when it gets a little weird.

but i agree, when you actually THINK that the person that is being written about is actually breathing, living their own life, and isn't just some random character you make up it does get a little odd to imagine.

my wall of text above contains me complaining about people changing the real person's complete personality but still continues to write post-apocalyptic stories with yt's that have completely distant personalities unlike themselves but i think its justified like that ok
