@dami,
i think both versions are awesome,
but the second one is awesomer <3
@rose,
recently, your coding has become so creative
it's beautiful no it's not stupid
one thing: "make me" and the bottom
of the box to the left of it don't really
align. maybe make the "you can't" smaller
and more spread apart or the "make me"
bigger? idk

@rosemarrie i love it really (i saw both versions, just couldn't reply till now), the
only thing is that in the phrase "do or die" the words are really close together, so i
read it as "doordie" the first time and was like "...huh?" until i really looked at it.
if you want to fix that and combat the plainness (which i don't see, but you do so
it's fine) at the same time you could make the word "or" in small lowercase cursive
writing, and put a small text accent under it, like a line, or those weird dot blocks.
edit: reviving dead thread with a question!
- Code: Select all

honestly i've been reminiscing over how everything used to be put in quote boxes
lmao, simpler times i'm tellin ya
edit again: omg and how everybody used those giant ❝quotation❞ marks and made
their descriptions in the first person

omg do you remember when forms had to be like a page long and you'd
fill them out with stuff like "jane's hair is a deep and eye-catching shade
of brown with lighter hues on the outside that look like milk chocolate
and darker hairs on the inside. it has small and subtle waves on the ends
and when it catches the sunlight the color is reminiscent of hot chocolate
made on a winter's night with cream swirled in the center and jesus what
else can i say about her damn hair to take up space uhh" and then you'd
go and describe each and every one of her freckles and the way her shoulders
looked or smthg omgomg. ;OOO; I AM GLAD THAT IS GONE
edit-- gender: "are you blind? im obviously a girl"
or "last time i checked, im a dude"

Definitely a 'don't' case... anything that is really generic, not even with minimal coding like this post ;p I can't code to save my life, but the little I can do now has made me realize how bland those were.
Also, happy birthday, ailuric ^-^

yay, so the results for the challenge are up! actually, they have been for some time, but
i'm travelling and didn't have any wifi access. congratulations to the winners (coding:
spiff and type. writing: ari,) and thank you to everyone who took part. i'm not lying when i
say i actually loved everything that was sent to me. c:
also, happy birthday ailuric <3
what is your favorite old form trend that you do/don't wish to return?
oooo i loved when people would put images of text by the side of their character.
this was ages ago, before i really got into coding, but i remember enjoying looking
at those kinds of forms immensely.
also, quite a recent one was the bird font from veer. that one was super. people still
use it, but it's not as big as it was a few months ago.
glitter text was fun while it lasted, but i don't think it should make a return.
personally it just reminds me of my atrocious spelling, grammar and coding
when i first joined. also, i think it can look a little juvenile and out of place nowadays.
also, i'm planning to make a coding shop when i return from holiday in about a week.
i was hoping a few other coders would like to become staff and code and take in orders
as well? kinda like a big coding shop with lots of coders helping out 'n' stuff. anyway, i
just think it'd be really fun: i've always wanted to open a shop but have never really been
bothered. i've had this idea for a long time now. this way it won't be too much work for
anyone, but definitely good fun. and bonding, right? you can chose if you'd like payment or not,
chose what examples i'd put up of your work, chose what orders you take, and if you're
busy you can close - all that. please don't be afraid to message me if you are interested! <3
the only thing is i may not reply straight away because i'll have no wifi, starting tomorrow
morning, for most of the next week. the link is 'ere cc:
