I know, I can't wait to start either! <3 It's been quite a while since the last time I role played.

Ok! I had a question too: How will the apprentices be chosen for a mentor? Are you choosing them? The people as the apprentices choosing who will be their mentor? The mentors choosing who will be their apprentice? I thought I might ask this since it has varied in different warriors RPs I've been in. I also just noticed how well my character Eclipsepaw and your character Snowcloud will get along as mentor and apprentice since both are very caring and sympathetic for others.

--Are you feeling "blue" today? Perhaps you will after you meet this little charmer. Say hello to Blue, the clever and flirtatious addition to the clan. If there's one thing that Blue could do best, it would be snatching the hearts of she-cats, young and old. Blue was gifted (or cursed, as some say) with a smooth tongue and a clever way with words. Due to his lack of brute strength, he often flatters his way out of situations--it's his profession. He finds great entertainment in teasing and flirting with pretty she-cats of his age.
Despite his toying with others, Blue has a soft heart, and has plenty of room to give care and love. He truly does respect and care for his clanmates, and would give up his life at any second to protect them. Once Blue matures a bit, he hopes to find a she-cat to treasure and cherish his life and family with.
Blue is a handsome blue-tinted tom with a sandy brown underbelly and an unusually long tail. He is of a somewhat short stature, though his large paws promise growth in the future. Blue's eyes are a dark grayish-blue, and his tail is kept at its fluffy prime at all times, primped constantly. He is not a very strong tom, but can hunt well and fight decently enough to. Blue is twelve moons old, and his warrior name will be Blueface.

Blue was born to two cats who may as well have been strangers, for they only knew each other by scent and assignment together as mates. He was born in a kitten mill, a purebred Somali breed cat. All Blue can recall from his early kithood was the blind scent of his unknown mother, who had had an identification number as her name. He was separated from his mother and littermates at three weeks of age, hours after he had opened his eyes. Blue does not feel sorrow for the loss of his family, for he had been taken away before he could develop attachment to any cat.

He had been taken to a pet store that had rather large and well-kept cages, for it was located in a wealthy and spacious Twolegplace. Blue was soon discovered by a girl of fourteen, and had been carried off to his new home before he could get used to the solid and bland taste of the pet store pellets. The family was very loving, and pampered him generously but healthily. It was during his first weeks in his new home that he figured that his name was "Blue", by the repeated calling of such sounds when the Twolegs expected something of him. Blue had learned quickly that these were his humans, and had learned to sweet-talk and suck up to them to receive the delicious pieces of red, raw fish that he loved. "Sushi", so they called it.

He was about six moons of age when he first began interacting with other cats in the neighborhood. The young kit particularly got along with the elderly cats, the she-'s delighted by the presence of a young kit, and the toms eager to tell their stories and teach him some survival tactics they had learned from rogues as adventurous youths. However, it was when Blue first started applying the velvety words he gave to his Twolegs to the young she-cats around that he first learned of the magic in his words. She-cats up to even twenty moons of age were charmed under his spell, and visited the kit in his yard to gawk over him.

At eight moons of age, the family moved out from their large house and into a slightly smaller, but more homely one in the countryside. Blue could smell the numbers of rogues that lurked in the streets, but took much more interest in the forest that bordered the city. He took daily trips around town, listening to rogues' conversations and occasionally bumping into trouble, and had heard along the way of a group of cats who once lived in the forest. Word was that their descendants and "starry ancestors" were being called upon to group again, along with strangers who dared to join. Blue ached to converse with others of his own kind--his own species.

He has recently been preparing to find these cats--what were they called? Something about a leaf?--to start a life of excitement and companionship. Life as a kittypet had been easy and great, but Blue has grown tired of being pushed away by rogues and being rubbed on the head by Twolegs. Besides, where there is a group of cats, there are always plenty of young she-cats to meet.

Unfortunately, Streamfeather had no knowledge of her mother and father, but she can remember many nightmares of her dark past. Being born in a forest of badgers, foxes, two-legs and many other threats. During then, Streamfeather had no name, mainly because her parents didn't give her one, for whatever reason. She was only four moons when she lost her parents, and was forced to flee away from the forest into the streets, thanks to a fox. Many of the cats on the streets were not at all friendly, but they spared the kit's life because she had no motive to fight them, much less do any harm. She grew up with the name Stream.
As Stream grew up, she had a strangely strong fascination of the forest, despite nearly loosing her life there. She left the streets, wandered into the mass of trees and managed to teach herself how to hunt and survive, thanks to common sense. Very soon she heard that a new clan was beginning to rebuild itself. Hoping for shelter, comfort and a higher chance of living, Stream headed towards where the future clan was going to be rebuilt and united and managed to join. Stream had to start off as an apprentice so she could learn the warrior code and believe in Starclan, in which she did in all due respect. The day Stream was pronounced as Streamfeather and became a warrior gave her new hope.

personality: Froststar is a level headed and fair leader. She is kind and helpful, and will do anything for her clan. She is loyal and full to the brim of determination, she will not leave a cat behind and she will never give up. She is very gentle around younger cats and kits, and is always looking for a way to help out around camp, whether it is helping distribute herbs or demonstrating a technique to an apprentice. But underneath the skin of this seemingly perfect leader is an insecure cat with a horrible past(will be rpd out). One who is shy and reserved. She feels as though she depends on other cats to much, and this can lead to her having..."breaks" as she calls them..from the clan for up to two days. She doesn't trust outsiders easily, but will welcome an abandoned or wounded cat into her camp in a heartbeat. She is stubborn, and it takes a lot for her to sit still and listen to others ideas before charging ahead with her own.

@Frozenluver; I'm not quite sure yet. If we were looking at it from the cats' points of view, it would make sense for mentors to either volunteer themselves or already be friends with an apprentice that they decide to train, so I think I'm going to wait and see how it all plays out.
Snow and Eclipse will get along great! Maybe they can be friends before the clan starts to assemble?

@ Everyone; Everyone's accepted! Just so everyone's clear, we will be starting before the cats are a clan. There is some small talk about some cats grouping together (it's up to you guys if you want there to be a small group at first) and most of the cats know of their heritage, but they're not actually a clan yet. That'll happen through the role play. (:

You guys can also start discussing future relationships/events if you want; I know it's sort of hard right now since the cats barely know each other, but nothing has to be set in stone. All of my cats are up for any suggestions of events, friendships, or relationships, so don't be afraid to ask! We'll be starting very soon. I'd still like for there to be a couple more male characters and am considering making one myself.
