"Nice catch!" Bluetongue called to Sunpelt, rising to his paws and stretching.

Barty sat right outside the scent marker of the Clan, waiting for a patrol to pass. He wondered whether he should just go in and find a cat, considering how bored he was.

Bluetongue

Bluetongue stood up straight and flicked his ears when a fly buzzed around them. "Hi Mistysky! How are you today?" he asked, calling to her from across the clearing.

Barty

Barty yawned, and since it seemed like there would be no patrols coming any time soon, he rose to his paws and turned away from the scent markers. He opened his mouth to taste the air and almost immediately scented a squirrel. Barty followed the scent to the roots of a tree and fell into a hunters crouch.

She grabbed a piece of fresh-kill and ate it. Then she padded back to the apprentice den. "Otterpaw!" She called again.

The young black Tom emerged from the apprentice's den, he stretched and looked over at the leader's den 'I wonder when hazelstar will assign me a mentor' he wondered looking around camp

Ebonystalk watched Hazelstar walk off, heart quivering tensely. He didn't know what, but something about the leader made him feel so queasy and nervous. He was glad when she walked off, because he didn't know how long it would take before he cracked. He turned back to Ebonystalk. "Yeah I'd really like to become a Medicine Cat. Or an Apprentice one," he said. "it doesn't really matter which to me."

(Bump. This thread is slowly dying, and I had high hopes for it. I don't want it to end up like LeafClan. :c)

"That's good," he smiled. "Would you want to go hunting with me and maybe an apprentice? Maybe Ravenpaw, he doesn't have a mentor yet, we could get him started on his training."

Barty growled to himself when the squirrel slipped through his paws. He sat up and puffed out his chest in annoyance, to any passing cat he might look like he had just bit into a rotten piece of food. "Fine," he growled. "I'll go see the Clan cats. Even though they won't want me," he said, as if he was talking to someone. Barty rose to his paws and trotted off towards the Clan border.
