Fallenpaw's chest swelled at the praise, and she picked her mouse up carefuly between her jaws. The apprentice half-tempted to take a bite when she realized how hungry she was. The grey tabby caught up to her mentor quickly, dropping her kill and lifting her nose to smell the air.

Sandstar soon had located a squirrel in a nearby tree. "Fallenpaw, watch closely. I still have to show you this, but we'll work on it later." The leader skillfully climbed up the tree, careful not to shower bark onto the ground. The squirrel had not yet seen her, as she was on the opposite side. Sandstar slid onto a branch, slowly creeping forward, then she pounced, killing jer prey. The branch swayed slightly, but it held her weight.

Larkpaw grinned at the younger apprentice, his own eyes glittering with nervous excitement. I'm going to become a warrior and nothing is going to stop me. Even if I have to train without a mentor. He nodded back at Ashpaw, and the deal was sealed. With light, quick steps he padded after the black tom, hoping to leave the camp inconspicuously.

Fallenpaw sat back and observed her mentor stalk the squirrel in the tree. Her blue eyes never blinking as she took in every second of the hunt. She watched as Sandstar killed her prey and mewed up to her, "Nice catch!" The she-cat perked up with excitement, Fallenpaw was going to be able to hunt among the trees too one day.

Stubbytail watched as she slipped away, he knew she had caught the scent of fresh prey so he let her go without complaint, turning his own head to scent out prey. He could smell a thrush not far off and a vole scurrying around in the underbrush. Despite his mouth watering at the thought of thrush, he turned towards the vole. If he allowed the thrush to even flutter above his head, he would lose it. He cursed his stubbed tail, throwing him off balance during jumps. He was getting better but he knew he still had a lot to learn, he wasn't stupid.

Adderbite curled himself around Goldstripe and rasped his tongue along her ear before continue to groom her. He let her breathing relax him and the scent of the forest cool his nerves. Night was setting in and darkness was beginning to take over the forest.

Moonfleck glanced down at the ground nervously "I would like to know if you could teach me some fighting skills." she meowed, glancing nervously at her daughter, but Mistpaw seemed uninterested, instead her gaze was pinned on the nursery. When she turned to look at her mentor, she heard her ask to go see the kits, and glanced back towards the entrance before looking back to Acorntail.

Snowstripe stuck his head into the warriors den "Goldstripe, Lunarwing's kits have been born." he meowed softly, knowing the young she-cats attachment to the deputy. Just as quickly he pulled his way back out of the den and grabbed the borage leaves in his teeth, trotting towards the nursery.

Stormflight had curled himself around his mate, rasping his tongue along her fur while the kittens struggled at her stomach. When Goldstripe walked in both cats looked up. "Goldstripe!" Lunarwing purred, flicking her tail to invite her friend closer. "Two toms and a she-kit." she meowed proudly, looking up her friend. There was a slight nervousness in her eyes, unsure how her friend would react.

Sandstar climbed down, holding the prey in her mouth. "I plan on teaching you to climb trees next." She meowed, landing neatly on the ground. "It's a skill used mainly for hunting, but it can also help you out in a tricky situation."

A faint meowed woke Mothkit up from his sleep! The kit was squeezed in the back of the den, cramped with the new kits. He looked tired, as the kits had been mewing for what seemed like years. Not to mention they couldn't stay in their own space. Yet, the kit didn't really mind. Mothkit looked up, seeing Mistpaw. He jumped up, and made his way out of the den. He was excited to share some 'news' with her. It wasn't really news, but he thought it was cool. "Hey!"
