Many lifetimes ago wolves roamed freely through this wonderful land. However the land began to die and only one wolf could prevent it from happening. But the wolf was greedy and demanded the pack listen to his demands or they would perish in dead lands. The current alpha having no choice agreed but was not prepared for the consequences. The evil wolf became known as the Chooser, due to how they demanded control over who would become mates with who. The wolves were filled with anger and despair and tried to over-throw the Chooser. However it was quickly put to a stop as a part of the forest was instantly killed, left with nothing but bare branches and pale, dead ground. Many decades have passed and the Chooser passes on the secret to a wolf as evil as them every ten years, to keep the deal alive. The wolves have learned not to feel for another as they will not likely be paired with the one they love. Instead they accept what their ancestors have done and do not question what could happen if they take out the Chooser. The forest would instantly perish... or would it?
You are part of one of the biggest packs in Canada. You flourish in the dense forest mixed in with wide open plains and rivers. But there is a cost for living in this pack and on this wonderful land. Love. There is a wolf that chooses who your mate shall be. He only appears in the pack when there are wolves of age for a mate. Whether that wolf be a stranger, a dear friend, or an enemy. You can not ask for your own mate, it will cause the Chooser to react with punishment. He comes every full moon and when all pack wolves are gathered, The Choosing begins.

This is a Semi-Lit roleplay. Post with the minimum of eight lines (not sentences) per wolf.
Be kind to others. No fights or rude behavior when OOC
No killing other wolves without the roleplayer's permission
Do NOT make bad forms. You won't be accepted. Please put time and effort into them. They don't have to be long, gosh no, but make sure you have all the info needed. If possible send me a sample of your role playing please.
PM the forms to me, they must be accepted before posted on the DISCUSSION thread.
Please include:
•A picture of your wolf (realistic), name, age, gender, sexuality, personality, history, rank, family, and any other info you'd like
You cannot be your own mate or crush. Siblings/parents are allowed
You can have a maximum of 4 characters
Keep genders even, if you see one is lacking in wolves try to make a wolf of the that gender.
Keep OOC discussion to the discussion thread
Wolves of any sexuality are accepted, If you want to be paired to a certain gender PM me.
Having a real life is a thing, but please let me know if you are going away or have been gone. If no reasons are given after a month, your character/s will be removed.
Remove your signature from all your posts. It keeps the pages clean.
Lastly, follow Tess' rules

The Chooser shall not have a mate
The Chooser has higher authority over the Alphas
Pack wolves are to stay away from the Chooser unless a ceremony is occuring

All wolves of Choosing Age, even if they already have a mate, are required to go to Choosing Ceremonies during the full moon.
The Choosing Ceremonies for the pack are during the full moon. These happen every single moon and a few wolves will be paired together. Not the whole pack.
The Chooser shall not be challenged. If this is to be broken verbally, he will warn the challenger. If this is to be broken physically, he will kill the challenger. (With consent of the challenger's owner. If not then the challenger will be chased out/attacked.)
If the Chooser finds out you have rejected the mate he has chosen for you, punishment will ensue.
