She slipped out of the warriors den and into the clearing. The morning light shined on her pelt, make her ginger fur the color of flame. She looked around camp, seeing if she was needed somewhere. Maybe I could lead a hunting patrol. She padded over to the deputy. Dipping her hesd, she asked. "Could I lead a hunting patrol?"

He padded over to the apprentice den. "Ashenpaw!" He called.

She blinked open her pale green eyes. Sitting up, she noticed her mentor was already gone. I wonder where he went?
