welcome to storybrooke.
to the naked eye, this town is a simple one; but to the residents, storybrooke is not a normal town. every single resident here is a fairy tale character, pulled to this world by a curse. for awhile, the residents didn't know about this curse. in fact, they didn't even know that they were fairy tale characters. after emma swan, the savior, broke the first curse, everyone's memories were recovered, but they did not return to the enchanted forest. but soon after, regular humans found out about the town and captured henry mills, emma swan's son and regina mills adopted son. captain hook, snow white, prince charming, regina mills, mr. gold, neal cassidy, emma swan, and tinker bell all helped to rescue him in neverland, as well as defeated peter pan, who contrary to belief -- is a villain. now storybrooke remains a peaceful town for now.

personality➝ emma swan is quite a character. at times she can appear emotional and caring. other times she can appear as cold and stubborn, but she is of course, human. emma's judgement occasionally can become clouded when it comes to her son, henry. she's intelligent and sharp-witted. when she becomes angry or frustrated, it's usually with herself, and she tends to shut down and push people away. she has a difficult time with falling in love, as she doesn't want things to end up like the first time she fell for neal, who abandoned her and left her in jail (for her safety after august confronted him).
history➝ emma swan is the first-born child of snow white and prince charming. however due to the evil queen's curse and the prophecy that made emma the savior, she was sent away in an enchanted cabinet alone with pinnochio who at the time, was supposed to protect emma. she and pinnochio were placed in a foster home where eventually they were separated when pinnchio left emma with the other foster children. on her 28th birthday, her son, henry mills found her and brought hr to storybrooke to try and convince her that she could save everyone in the town. she did not believe him until she saw the book. emma is now the sheriff in storybrooke, and lives with her parents, mary-margaret and david, otherwise known as snow white and prince charming.

history➝audrey is a bit like ariel. she can change from crocodile to human in the blink of an eye. in he fairy tale realm, she served as a messenger, particularly to hook. he paid her handsomely if she followed enemy vessels and collected information about them. of course she went undetected as she went in her crocodile form, but it raised a few questions when the crocodile was the size of a small boat itself. she began having to attack ships if they threatened her safety, and they were no match for her and she instantly tore apart ships with ease. that's probably why Hook wanted her on his side in the first place as well. When the curse hit, Audrey was sent here as a child, spending imd in the school and staying with a fake family she new nothing about, when her memories returned, she went to look for any familiar faces, but not having any family herself, it's been a bit hard for her to fit in.

personality➝ aaron is a huge flirt. he has a bit of a bad boy attitude, and is always getting into trouble. however he does know how to treat a lady, specifically Lady. he's very flawed, as he likes to gamble, drink, and smoke. he likes adventuring, and sometimes pulls lady into shady things, but he's doing his best to change for her.
history➝ in the enchanted forest, aaron was a dog, a stray, homeless to be specific. like red, he could change into a human, but on his own will. as a dog, he had freedom and no responsibilities, so he was only human when he needed to eat or attend events. he was looked down upon a lot, but soon met Lady/Carlie and fell in love instantly. however she was wealthy and had a nice family, something he didn't have. however he did end up with her, only to lose her during the first curse, he's tying to find her now.
