The group slowly headed to where they'd bury Starfall. As they arrived, Crowstar meowed,"We'll have to set her down. Gently."

Sandstar meowed to Echo,"I'm going to call for a meeting. Don't worry." She let out a loud yowl. "All cats old enough to catch their own prey join me here for a clan meeting!"

"O-Okay." He stammered and sat down, looking at his paws.

Stormpaw returned her gaze to Sootnose, "But what if my brothers are made warrior before me?" Concern similarly lined her voice as when she was speaking to the warrior about his sister.


Ashpaw shook his head at Fallenpaw's question, "Not for like 3 moons at least." He said to her as he thought of his training and his mentor.

Spikeflame sighed deeply as Sandstar called a meeting. He thought it was stupid, her letting any cat waltz in here and take their place.

Foxcloud crouched, carefully letting he slide off of her back.

Sandstar could see that some cats weren't very haopy. She started to speak. "Today we have a new cat joining us. Echo, please step forward." She paused as the tom did so. "Do you promise to uphold our code, even at the cost of your life?"

Crowstar began to dig a grave for Starfall. The ground wasn't hard, so it was relatively easy.

Spikeflame shook his head unhappily. He stood, slipping around the back of the group, heading out of camp.


"They won't be," Sootnose said. "I'll help you."

Heartstar watches as Crowstar buries Starfall, all the memories and accomplishments Starfall made in her life for DawnClan and now for DuskClan.

Foxcloud joined in, scraping at the ground beside him.

"I do." He said, feeling brave, ignoring all of the other cats.

The soil soon hd been dug out, big enough for a cat like Starfall. Crowstar meowed,"We'll probably have to roll her in."

"Then by the powers of StarClan I give you your warrior name. From the moment on you will be know as Nightecho." Sandstar meowed, hoping down. "We welcome you as a full member of DuskClan." The leader rested her muzzle ontop of the new member's head.
