Ashpaw had been laying in the clearing, soaking warm sunny rays into his sleek, black pelt, when he heard a familiar voice. Opening one of his bright green eyes, the tom saw Fallenpaw approaching. Lifting the other eyelid and his head, he nodded a greeting to her, "Hey Fallenpaw."

Stormpaw took her blue gaze and shifted it towards the grassy forest floor as she refused to look at the black tom, "I'm afraid I'm not very good." The apprentice thought back to her hunting training sessions with Goldstripe, feeling her pelt heat up with embarrassment, thanking Starclan only her mentor had seen how awful she was.

Sootnose shrugged. "So? You're just an apprentice. You'll get the hang of it."

Spikeflame watched Sandstar enter camp with a loner. Another? He shook his head. This was really getting ridiculous.

As he said three, Foxcloud stood with him. She was surprised how light the she-cat was.

Heartstar nods and lifts up, feeling the weight is less with others carrying her.

"Mind if I join you? I have nothing else to do, really." Fallenpaw asked, giving her hind legs a long stretch, satisfied when they trembled briefly; bones popping. She twisted her head around to stare straight at Sandstar and the unknown cat behind her. Fallenpaw's tail lashed and she continued to watch them both quietly, "Who is that?" She questioned more to herself than anyone else.

Crowstar could tell Starfall's body was fragile. "Let's just go." The tom meowed. "Everyone be careful as we walk. All together." They all walked to where they buried cats.

Larkpaw woke up as Fallenpaw left the apprentice den, startled out of his own nap. Not wanted to waste away any more of the day (or get himself into trouble), the light ginger tom stretched, paused to smooth down some of his fur, and then padded out of then den after the silver she-cat. He noted her talking with Ashpaw, and decided to go over to greet the other two apprentices. "Hey," he mowed as he approached. "Am I interupting anything?"

Stormpaw flicked an ear, she wanted to believe him, but had zero confidence in herself, "Are you sure?" She asked him, "It seems like already my brother's are doing way better than me?"

Ashpaw's own gaze faltered towards the outsider, "Looks like we're getting a new clan mate." He piped up as Larkpaw approached, "No of course not. We were talking about the tom with Sandstar."

Sootnose shook his head. "You'll get better."

Fallenpaw glanced at Larkpaw, nodding her head in greeting to him, "No you aren't interrupting anything at all. I wonder if Sandstar is taking that outsider in too." She suggested and sat back on her haunches, tail swishing over the ground in a relaxed manner. To change the subject and cover her immense curiosity, she spoke cheerfully, "So you're both going to be warriors soon right?"
