The black and white tom sat in the clearing after he had padded from Blazestar's den. His ears were pinned back against his head and his tail lashed back and forth. I can't believe that I really got into trouble! Do I even consider myself a rogue anymore? I mean it's nice to not be lonely, but having to follow all of these rules is going to be really hard. The black and white medicine cat nodded and padded over to the tabby. It took a while to remove the splinter from his paw, but she eventually removed it with her teeth. She set the splinter on the ground and looked at it. It was clear and made of something that wasn't usually found in the forest. Her nose twitched as she sniffed at the wound. ''This might have been something from twolegs. The splinter might have had something on it.'' She chewed some yarrow into a paste and smeared it onto the tom's paw.

The black and white tom looked up as he saw the tabby approach. ''Nothing is wrong.'' He looked up at the cat curiously. ''What's your name?'' He hadn't met the tom yet, but he seemed nice enough. Apparently most of the clan knew about him. There was no need to introduce himself. I guess that they easily notice when a strange cat enters their camp.
