Hunter dipped his head to the young cat, an 'Apprentice' here as they were in the clan. He found it curious that this young one had decided to approach him in the first place.

"The clan? Well, it's better than where I came from, thats for sure!" he meowed cheerfully. He was curious about the cat in front of him, so he jumped to ask his questions.

"How about you? How is clan life for you?" he asked, his ears pricking in curiosity.

She nodded. "Yes, I'm ready to go as well. I hope Willow the otter has healed the sick cats as well. I also wish Rowancloud, Juniperfur, and Dovekit didn't have die." she meowed sadly. (Actually, I believe Frosttail is with Sagestep, Riverglow, and Hornetclaw. Not Poisonedclaw and Spiderpelt ^^ Spiderpelt is with Poisonedclaw and let's say.... Owlpaw.)

With a smile, he made himself go closer to Fiercestrike. The tom looked at Splash and fawnstep and waited for someone to lead the way out of camp.

Hornetclaw dipped his head and backed out of her den slowly, wondering if she would say more. Sighing,
he began organizing patrols. "Spiderpelt, Poisonedclaw, and Shadowheart, please
go meet willow at the sickened cats den. Take your apprentices! Splash, Fawnstep, Fiercestrike,
and Hawkfeather, you are the border patrol. Take your apprentices. Sagestep, Riverglow, Frosttail
and I will go on a hunting patrol. If you have apprentices, bring them." the tom ordered
and watched the patrol organize themselves.

He padded over to Poisonedclaw and Shadowheart, the patrol he was assigned to go to see the sick cats and willow with. "Are you two ready to go?" he asked.

The tabby tom sat down and curled his tail around his paws. ''Well, I like the clan. Some of the cats here can be grumpy. We're always protecting eachother though.'' His green eyes looked towards the patrols and then back towards the tom. ''Where did you come from before this? Didn't you live by yourself until you found the clan?'' Cedarpaw licked his paw nonchalantly as he waited to hear what the tom said. It couldn't have been too terrible to be a loner or a rogue.

The calico she-cat's ears pricked forward as she heard the deputy call her name for a patrol. She got to her paws and padded over to the other cats. Shadowheart dipped her head to the other cats on the patrol as she greeted them. I hope they're all doing well now that we have the otter here to help us heal them. She waited curiously to see when the patrol would be ready to set off. ''I'm ready. I can't wait to see if they're all doing fine.''

The tom nodded as he thought about the three cats. ''They're with Starclan now.'' His fluffy white tail swept from side to side as he spoke to the she-cat. ''There wasn't anything that we could've done to stop it though.'' He sat down with a sigh as he gazed towards the other cats. ''At least hunting will help to take our minds off of everything.'' The tom already felt a little calmer as he imagined stalking through the forest and hunting. His ears pricked forward as he thought about it.

She sadly nodded and looked over at Frosttail. "Why don't you lead the way?" she asked him.

Spiderpelt
Spiderpelt noticed no other cat was leading the way to see willow and the sick cats and so he decided to do so himself. Spiderpelt headed towards the exit of camp and hoped they were following.

Hunter gave a giggle of understanding; That she-cat he had met on the border had proven that fact rather obviously. He smiled about the rest of the cat's explanation, nodding in thought about his words.

His happy demeanor changed to a flat one at the apprentice's question. He had to think for a moment, to choose if he wanted to tell the apprentice the truth or blatantly lie...

"Well, it's not easy just living alone too...," he said carefully, "Especially since I came from a walker's dwelling. It was new, especially since i wasn't much older than you."
