Yami is a very lazy demon . She would relate more to a cat than to an owl with how often one would find her sleeping . Although when night rolls around this demon is up and about . She is the kind to stay up all night and sleep all day . With a bit of effort one could get this lazy demon off of her butt and moving around during the day . She is quite childish compared to others, often drinking from juice pouches or juice boxes and coloring in coloring books with crayons . Yami tends to be on the more joyful side, often teasing others in a singsong tone . She isn't use to modern day advances and rejects most electronics, mainly kitchen appliances and anything that isn't related to entertainment . She is easily mystified by what mankind has managed to invent in her time of rest and can be distracted by throwing a handful of things her way . She does not like cars, and tries to stay away from them . They don't appeal to her and she would choose walking over riding in one, which is saying a lot with how lazy this demon is . She loves small, and baby, animals and will often hoard strays, pouting when she is told to get rid of them . Larger animals terrify her though . If something big like a doberman pincher get anywhere near her she will scream and instantly send it back in time or swap its age to something younger and smaller . Airplanes are also out of the question with her, she is afraid of flying . Too many things could go wrong and she couldn't even begin to list them all . Aside from those few things Yami tends to hold up to a brave demon stereotype . She doesn't shift into her animal form often as it tends to drain her energy . As an owl she resembles a Snowy Owl, although her eyes look like they have a galaxy trapped in them rather than having an iris and pupil . She is completely fearless in this form as well, but tends to get stuck in places that she cannot get down from .

The shrine that held this powerful demon within was hidden in plain site. The old red wood was nailed together to form a simple looking structure. The shrine doesn't stand out from others of its kind and only stands to reach a person's hip. The structure was once settled in the outskirts of a large forest, away from human interaction to prevent it from ever being found. Modern civilization had made it's way to the shrine though, it now standing in a vibrant park. The hustle and bustle of people out on morning jogs and picnics disturbing this once silent slumber.

This demon is very laid-back and slow moving when calm. He doesn't get distracted easily, usually able to stay at a task at hand. Laziness is one of his greatest weaknesses though, also being very stubborn and not easy to convince. He will lay around all day and not move an inch unless hunger controls him to get up and eat. This demon in particular is cunning, he can be persuasive and pretty sly. He is rude and doesn't really care about others feelings. He states his mind and is very blunt about it, even hurtful things are said without a single care in the world. This demon is extremely temperamental, anything he does not like can set him off. His most dangerous state is when he's mad, destroying most things in his path and often harming innocent bystanders in the process. Calming down this demon isn't easy and keeping him under control is extremely hard. This is a greedy demon and is possessive over anything he claims as his. This powerful brute of a demon takes on the modern name of Emmett Akuma.

Kei has always been very absent-minded and smug, since he was young, too. Despite being quiet at first glance, he's always smirking and throwing jokes or teasing this way and that, usually unintentionally irritating others. He gets bored easily, and is very smart despite his seemingly uneducated, immature ways, just chooses not to show it. Many called him a delinquent in his highschool days. He dislikes putting a lot of effort into something useless, and is very ambitious. Overall he's pretty antisocial, and doesn't really talk much. He prefers to get the job done rather than take his time and enjoy it. He's rather secretive about his life, and while the one thing he actually enjoys doing is playing violin, he dislikes playing in front of others.

He is also not the best person for comfort, as he's never really experienced it himself. Come to him for comfort, expect an awkward, flustered Kei. He is very stubborn, and though he doesn't get angry easily.. Well, if he does, he snaps, and becomes an almost entirely different person. If you become a good friend of his, or someone he likes, which is difficult to endure, mind you, he will do most anything to keep you with him. He dislikes loosing people, and when something bad happens to his friends, he feels like he's done something wrong, as if he could've protected them somehow. He becomes a dark, heaving mass that no one wants to talk to. We don't want that, do we? Of course, then again, many people don't put in the effort to even become his friend, so that's not usually an issue.

He's very sarcastic and blunt, and very good at turning around people's words. As said before, he's pretty cold towards other people, and doesn't socialize in a friendly manner very often. Unless you've piqued his interest somehow, it's unlikely he'll even glance your way. If you manage to grab his interest, lucky you; hope it was for a good reason. Oh, and don't bother mentioning his past if you've just met him; if anything, that is the one thing he will keep locked away for a long time. If you want to know, then find out by getting close to him.

"It wasn't an accident" the entire town moaned.
To be fair; they weren't entirely wrong.
No body knew that a small party and a baby bonfire
could have burned down an entire shrine.
The teenagers did party and he was tasked with putting
out the fire although he thought that it was out when he
left quite a few embers still sparked.
The next morning the entire town knew
that he had practically burned down
the main tourist attraction of the town.
The elders warned him this incident would bring
him immense amount of bad
luck, but he didn't think that it would be in the
form of a demon following him
around.
