Water Clan

Honeydew's tail wavered behind her, a golden shimmer like a heat mirage in the heart of summer, or a sunset reflected on the glassy surface of a lake. "Well, it's not out of the question." she mewed with a chuckle, she had been for many midnight swims in many lakes during her years of life. And they had, she felt compelled to add, all been wonderful, if a little cold and wet. Her head dipped to watch her small smoky-golden paws falling in perfect order on the forest floor, footsteps so light that they didn't even leave an indent in the moss and pine needles.

EarthClan
Dappleheart jumped down and her ears swiveled to the mouse Pinetail was pointing to. "You can get it,"She whispered so quietly that only he could hear it. The golden she-cat padded toward another bush where she could hear a smell vole.

AirClan
Stripetail had managed to squirm free from Blackclaw and he was now gripped her back with his claws. He fought to hang on as she bucked and twisted. "Get off!" Blackclaw hissed a she struggled. Normally she would just roll over but this tom expected that and it would just leave her belly exposed. Stripetail was becoming dizzy and disoriented as she spun around and buck. He felt like he was riding on an angry fox.

Earth Clan

Pinetail sunk into a hunter's crouch, and started slinking forward, thinking carefully about where to place each white-tipped paw. His eyes were wide, excited by the hunt, and a very bright, buttery amber, broken only by the inky black pupils. He wiggled his rear once the mouse was in sight and propelled his chunky body forward, claws out and glittering. The mouse scattered away from him, but Pinetail made another long stride and pinned it down, then grabbed it by the throat, trotting back to place it by his squirrel.

Dappleheart pounced over the bush and a squeal was heard but was quickly ended. She poked her head out and a small vole dangled from her jaws. She padded over to him and dropped her prey,"I'm going to go back. I'm going to need my energy tomorrow for organizing patrols and hunting patrols in the morning. Are you coming?" Her sky blue eyes were a darker shade in the shadows but they still glowed happily as she spoke.

Pinetail scraped his paws through the warm earth, uncovering his squirrel. He picked botht he mouse and the squirrel up, the limp bodies swinging from the he-cat's strong jaws and nodded. "Yeah, sure." He waved his tail and headed off in the direction of Earthclan camp, beckoning for the she-cat to follow him.

Dappleheart picked up the vole once again and followed the tom. Even with the voles warm scent surrounding her she could still smell her clanmates scents. Tail held high she padded into camp and dropped her prey on the pile. "Thanks for hunting with me," she meowed to Pinetail before she began to run her tongue over her paw.

Pinetail placed his two kills on the pile and dipped his head to Dappleheart. "It was a pleasure." he mewed, the words tasting strange on his tongue; they were unusually charming and slick for him, the cat of few words.

Dapplehearts ears flicked hearing his words. She continued grooming but he seemed like a different cat when he spoke. Pinetail was normally quiet and did his own thing so him hunting with her had somewhat been a suprise.

Pinetail wondered at himself, this was unlike him, and when he spoke his husky voice was dipped in mild disappointment and sadness. "Well, I suppose I should be getting to sleep now." he flicked his tail under Dappleheart's chin and after a moment of hesitation, padded away with his tail waving behind him.

Dapeheart was shocked when his tail touched her chin but it was quickly replaced by a new emotion. She wasn't sure what it was so she ignored it. "Goodnight Pinetail." She automatically smiled before returning to her grooming.
